It's been three days, and there was still no change in Sara's condition. Most of her cuts have healed, except for the one around her waist and the groove created by the collar around her neck.

Despite the team's efforts, they hadn't been able to do anything for Sara; after the fiasco with being blocked from Sara's mind, Constantine and Ava had been working hard alongside Ray to come up with some sort of serum that would deactivate the collar.

She hated to admit it, but Chloe was an evil genius. She was the villain of all the villains they had seen thus yet, and it wasn't because she was strong or anything, but because of her use of technology. There'd been so many times in which Ava had wanted to march into the brig where Chloe was, beat her until she told Ava how to fix or help Sara. But she knew it wouldn't do anything.

                                                                             ------------------------------------------

Ava was in the kitchen, making a salad when she heard a commotion near the docking bay of the ship. They were on their way to the future to see one of Barry's doctor friends in the future. Safe to say that when they saw this doctor friend, they knew why Barry had spoken so fondly of him.

Seriously. A different version of Barry's father from another earth? Ava didn't think Barry would ever learn his lesson about time travel and taking people from other earths, would he.

Turns out, according to Gideon, Ray had just figured out a serum for taking off the collar on Sara's neck, and the commotion was the rest of the team cheering as Ray dropped the heavy metal item onto the floor.

'We will now be able to reach Sara now, love." Constantine spoke directly into her ears.

Ava cringed, with Zari and Amaya laughing on the side.

"It's not funny, Constantine! That was very disrespectful." Ava snapped, not sounding like herself. "Are we able to do what we were not able  to last time and fully reach Sara to help her out of that fifth dimension now?"

She fixed herself as quickly as she could, hoping to regain her authority in the team.

In a blink of an eye, Ava was back on the adjacent med bay chair, Constantine once again preparing both her and Sara for a deeper and immersive spell that allows Ava to reach Sara.

"Love, the spell that I am doing will not allow me to pull you out unless Sara comes with you," Constantine continued, "She knows you and she loves you, but I don't know if she will remember you. The longer she's spent in the fifth dimension, the further from reality she gets."

"So it's like those movies, right?" Ava said, slightly joking.

Constantine looked at her.

"This is not a joking matter, Ava. I'm sending you to the fifth dimension; if you don't come out with Sara, well..."

"I'm not coming back out at all huh?" Ava finished.

She knew that because the work she, Constantine had been doing showed that the only way that Sara would be able to come out of where she was would be if Ava was sent to the same place all the way, complete immersion.

Ava knew what she was getting into. And she was going to do it. Whatever it took to save her girlfriend from whatever living hell she was living in.

She nodded.

"Alright. Let's find out what is going on in that beautiful mind of Sara's, shall we?"

Ava turned to glare at Constantine, but before she could even move her head, it lolled to her chest.
