"Ava?" Ava's comm beeped. It was Amaya's voice. "I think Mick and I just saw Sara head out of an office on the ninth floor. We're not sure it's her, though."

Ava nodded while she started towards the stairs, being that she finished searching the floor that she was on for Sara.

"I'm heading there now. Make sure you catch sight of her, wherever she's going."

"Copy that, pantsuit." Replied Mick's gruff voice. Ava rolled her eyes. She supposed Mick was never going to actually getting to call her Ava, much less "Director"

As Ava arrived on the ninth floor, she heard Mick come onto the comms. Ava had ordered the team to gather on the ninth floor, so Nate met with Ava as she was climbing the stairs. They knew she didn't trust elevators because... well.. becaus they were taking precautions and sometimes Ava went overboard with them?

Better safe than sorry.

"I had to use the restroom real quick," Mick grunted, "the pig in front of me was leaving the bathroom when I saw Sara run by. I could've sworn she was holding a piece of paper and she wore an expression like she'd swiped it." Mick grinned. "She'd make a nice partner in crime."

"Not now, Rory!" Ava said, half amused and half exasperated. "Where did she go, do you know?"
"No. And I want beer." Mick replied. Amaya rolled her eyes from where she was. And then she caught sight of the short assassin blurring back towards the office that she'd sworn she saw Sara come out of earlier.

Amaya moved slowly back towards the office, whispering through the comms as she approached. Sara was on a mission to confront Chloe, and as much as Amaya knew the team would want to step in and prevent her from doing anything to Chloe, or something perhaps happening to Sara herself, she knew the team couldn't intervene. But she needed to tell Ava. Amaya tapped her comm twice, to gain the private line to the Captain, but it was blocked, as Sara had transferred it to Ava instead. Ava spoke, asking her what was going on that she couldn't tell the team line.

And Amaya explained the issue and logic at hand. Ava understood quickly, which Amaya greatly appreciated her for being able to do.

"I'm going to tell the team to set a safe perimeter around the office where Sara, or where supposedly Sara went into, just so we can keep an eye on her- we won't intervene, but at least we'll know that we can get to her when she comes out." Ava spoke into the team line.

Amaya was to go to the cubicles where Chloe worked, as her coworkers on the sixth floor had told Ava, and Mick was to stand guard near the stairwell to watch the elevator and the stairwell itself should Sara come down that way instead. Ava kept watch hidden behind Nate, who acted like he was a steel statue that was always there.

For a while, the hall around them seemed empty, and Ava thought it must've been a bust. She was about to call the team to head back to the ship to continue to look for where Sara might've gone to confront Chloe, but before she could, two things happened.

First, Gideon had called through the comms to say that Sara's phone location had gone dark, and Second, a man had just walked down the seemingly deserted hallway. Right towards the office where they had thought that Sara had went into.

It was the man that worked right next to Chloe

Chloe looked down at Sara, whom she had just knocked down. She hadn't want her confrontation with the person that she needed to end like this, but it was a simple setback. She had other plans for Sara, such as asking her 'friend' to cooperate and help her with sending her back in time.

Making sure that Sara was still unconscious, Chloe searched her for any possible time traveling devices that she might've had on her. She realized, while searching through Sara's multiple pockets- hidden and unhidden, that she would need help to find whatever time traveling device that she might have. She picked up her phone, which was untraceable, and called Elan to tell him to come and help her with Sara.
