"Why won't you tell me what happened?" Lizzie chased after Josie who was in a near sprint to her locker.

An entire day had gone by and Josie still hadn't explained that night to her sister no matter how much Lizzie questioned her about it the entire rest of the night and now into the morning.

"Why do you keep asking?" Josie replied with a monotonous tone while refusing to look back and continuing her quick pace.

"Because you still haven't told me." The blonde whined.

Josie reached her locker but turned around quickly to look her sister dead in the eyes. "Because it still isn't your business."

Lizzie opened her mouth to say something, but she didn't know what to say. Josie raised an eyebrow at her before turning around to open her locker.

As she shuffled through it, taking out books from her bag and replacing them with books from her locker Lizzie leaned onto the locker beside her sister and pondered what to say. Unfortunately nothing came to mind so she decided to give up for now.

"Forget it. I'll see you at lunch." Lizzie huffed before pushing herself off of the locker and walking away from her twin.

Josie didn't even bother to respond in anyway to her sister and instead continued to rumble through her locker.

Finally exchanging all her books she went to grab the door and shut her locker but instead she paused. She looked at herself in the tiny mirror she had placed on the metal back wall. Fixing a strand of hair she began to wonder off in her own gaze.

"Hey JoJo." Penelope's reflection revealed her presence as she spoke and startled Josie, making the girl slam her locker shut. "Oh, I didn't mean to sneak up on you." Penelope chuckled a little while placing a hand on Josie's shoulder who clutched her chest.

"No-no, it's fine." Josie laughed while regaining her composure.

"I just wanted to thank you for last night. I- I'm actually really glad you found me there." Penelope spoke and almost seemed shy as she fiddled with her fingers while speaking to Josie.

"Oh yeah, it's not a problem. I have to go." Josie avoided eye contact as she spoke quickly before trying to walk off but was unable to when Penelope grabbed onto her arm and tugged her back.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Penelope searched for Josie's eyes immediately noticing the girl was being distant.

"Huh- oh. Nothing. I figured I should just talk to you later." Josie stuttered all over the place as Penelope gazed right into her with her hands on her hips.

"Seriously?" Was all Penelope asked as her face tightened up and she crossed her arms.

Josie said nothing but her face held a questioning expression.

"Just like that- we're back to avoiding each other?" Penelope knew what was going on and by the tone of her voice she was not happy.

"Penelope, it's not like tha-" Josie tried to explain but was cut off by an annoyed Penelope.

"Don't bother Josie, you know I see right through you too."

Josie didn't know what to say.

Penelope made a loud sigh before running her hand through her hair.

"You know what, if that's how it is, that's how it is. I just wanted to thank you for being there for me last night. Won't happen again." Penelope spoke very seriously before walking away from Josie, her shoulder bumping into Josie's causing her to fall back a little.
