Bacc to attacc.
*Finn's POV*
Today was the day that we all start shooting the last season of stranger things. I also graduated high school this week. It was kinda fun, saying goodbye to homework, annoying teachers, and fake friends. I know, I know, college is coming up after the summer, but i'm trying to enjoy the time I have.
Julia and I haven't spoken in a while. I think it's gonna be really awkward when we get back. Especially because Millie is hosting a sleepover at her house. Brings back old memories.
I started to pack a backpack with a change of clothes, snacks, movies, board games, and a bunch of other crap.
"Hey can you pick us up from the airport?" Caleb and Noah said over the phone.
"Sure, but that doesn't mean i'm your personal uber, k?" I replied.
~
We arrived to the large house and I parked my brothers car in the driveway. I helped my friends with their suitcases and other items as we entered the house.
"Finn!" Millie, Gaten, and Sadie gave me hugs. They found out Julia and I broke up only recently.
We put the luggage in the garage, and sat on the couches. I looked around and didn't see Julia. I was kinda bummed, but I could understand why she didn't want to be in the same room as me.
"Alright!" Millie voiced over us. "So we are all aware about our three day weekend before shooting correct?"
I widened my eyes, "Three days? That wasn't in the group chat."
"Nobody uses the group chat anymore." Noah laughed.
I rolled my eyes, "Well I'm gonna have to borrow someone's clothes." I mumbled.
"Anyways... I have planned super fun activities for each day. I'm sure you'll all love it. No alcohol, no drugs, and NO SEX. Got it?" Millie explained.
"Where are we? At a summer retreat?" Caleb sassed and winked at Sadie.
"I guess you could call it-"
Then someone knocked on the door.
~Earlier that day~
*Julia's POV*
"I'm NOT going!" I yelled at Sadie and Millie on facetime.
"You have to! It won't be as fun without you!" Sadie whined.
"I cannot go if Finn's going. I'm not ready to be friends with him."
"Girl, you're strong. You can take whatever happens. You may be stupid for dumping him, but at least you're strong." Millie tried to cheer me up.
"Wow, great pep talk." I scoffed.
"C'mon, I promise you won't have to talk to him. He'll probably just stay in the guys room most of the time. We can watch romantic comedies while they watch the Fast and Furious series! Ok? I promise you'll have fun. It's only three days." Millie corrected herself.
"Fine, I guess. But i'm not gonna be super on time. I have an errand to run."
"What is it? Can I help?" Sadie offered.
"Nope sorry! Love y'all, see you soon!" I hung up.
I got an uber to the pharmacy near my house and picked up my antidepressant medication. I also grabbed some candy.
"Omw" I texted Millie, but I got no response.
When I arrived at her house, I saw the driveway was full. I wondered how her parents could leave her home alone for so long. I paid the driver and got my luggage out of the back.
When I checked my phone it was 2pm.
When I stood at the door it was 2:05.
When I finally got the balls to knock, it was 2:10.
"Hey! Come on in, Mills is just yapping about the rules." Gaten answered.
I set my luggage down in the hall and walked over to the living room. I sat down next to Sadie. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Finn. His hair was longer since the last time I saw him. He looked paler, skinnier, taller. It had only been a few months. I tore my gaze away and paid attention to Millie. She better keep her promise.
