Play toy (Loki x Reader)

Chapter ten

I was shaken awake from my nap and I covered my face with my arm,

"Y/N."

I sat up and I rubbed my face.

"you should wake up. You're not going to be able to sleep."

I smiled slightly and I stumbled to get up. He walked out my room and I followed. We sat at the couch and he was reading a book. Some lights dimmed around us and I rested my head on the top of the couch and closed my eyes slightly. I felt a cold hand slap against my forehead and I yelped.

"Why did you do that for?"

I said as I threw a pillow at him. It hit him in the face and he had his eyes closed for a second. In a second, he threw it back to me and it hit my face as well. I rushed to my room to get more pillows and when I came back, I threw them as hard as I could and it turned into a huge pillow fight. He rushed to his room to get his pillows and before we started once more, I made sure there was no cheating,

"You can't use your powers! It wouldn't be fair for you."

"wait, why just me?"

"because I would deflect the pillows!"

he smiled and he grabbed both my hands. They glowed for a second and I knew what he did. 

"If you win, I'll give you back your powers,"

"Hey!"

He laughed and I laughed with him. I threw a pillow at him and he flinched for a second,

"I wasn't ready!"

He threw one at me and he just started to hit each other with pillows. We were laughing the whole way and he had such an adorable laugh. I smiled slightly at the thought and he hit me in the face,

"What are you smiling at?"

"The game!"

I threw another pillow and it hit him in the chest. He ran over to me and hit me with a pillow to the stomach. I laughed and I grabbed it from him and I hugged him in a way and I made both of us fall. We both laughed and I grabbed the pillow. I hit him repeatedly in the face and he pushed me off. 

hours later, we both finished and we were both panting. We recollected all our pillows and now made a fort. He grabbed my hands and I smiled. They glowed green and then it stopped. He held my hands in his for a second before pulling away. I knocked down one of the pillows with my power to make sure he gave them back. I pulled the pillow back up and I smiled,

"Wait here."

I stood up and I walked away,

"Where else would I go?"

I heard him call out and I rolled my eyes. I grabbed a blanket and I wrapped it around my shoulders like a cape. I walked over to the fort and I got in. I wrapped the blanket around us two and I saw a faint pink on his cheeks. He closed his eyes slightly and opened them up,

"Thank you."

I smiled and I rested my head on his shoulder. He rested his head on mine and after a while, I heard quiet snores. I smiled slightly and I lifted his side of the blanket a little and I looked at his ankle. 

I was supposed to put an ankle bracelet around his ankle

But I haven't.

I stared at his ankle a little more. I moved his head slightly so it was leaning on my shoulder. I stared at his peaceful face and I smiled. He hadn't had any more nightmares from what I know of. He seemed at peace and he looked innocent. 

I didn't understand why I was making these observations but I just was.

I trusted that he wouldn't leave. I trusted that he wouldn't try and kill me. I trusted he wouldn't cause trouble to New York again.

I trusted him

I smiled at him even though at that point, I had engraved it into his head. I laid my head against the couch and I closed my eyes. 

I fell asleep hoping that I could still trust him tomorrow.
