2 months later, Y/N's POV

It's been hours since the last experiment and my head hurt. I couldn't remember anything from today or yesterday.

Or anything for that matter.

As much as I tried to remember, I couldn't think of my name. Or how I got here in the first place. Harrostein told me I came here willingly but all I feel is pain at this point.

Suddenly, I was in a white room.

I looked down and I was at the top of some stair cases. I rushed down them and they were endless.

"Where the hell.."

I mumbled to myself and I quickly stopped after the fifteenth staircase. I tried leaning against a wall but I just fell through.

I fell to the ground and I huffed. I stood up and I turned my head to look over my shoulder and I found a bunch of file cabinets. I tried pulling on one but it wouldn't open. I pulled harder and it still wouldn't open.

I tried using my powers to bend it but nothing would open.

I was thrown out of the dream and I clenched my jaw.

"Fuck!"

I stood up from my bed and I kicked my cabinet. I grabbed the lamp on my nightstand and I chucked it at the wall.

I threw more of my stuff in anger, kicked and punched things as well.

I don't know why I was angry but I felt desperate, like I HAD to open that file cabinet.

I punched a hole in the wall and flipped over a table in my room.

After I had broken just about everything in my room, I heard the door unlock and in came Harrostein. He stared at the room and I gave him a crazed look.

"I've seen you made use of your room."

I didn't answer him back and I simply glared at him. I wasn't one to do that, or I think I wasn't.

He had a black case with him. I stared at it for a second before returning my gaze over to him, same crazed look as before.

He knelt down and opened the black case up and pulled out a violin. I furrowed my brows a bit as he pulled out the bow.

He handed me the two of them and crossed his arms afterwards. I gripped onto the handle roughly and I was about to smash it against my cabinet when I suddenly stopped, the violin mere inches from the cabinet.

I put the violin on my neck and rested it on my chin. I put the bow on the string and I stared at it for a second,

Was I ever a violin player?

I played a song and moved my fingers. I didn't move my eyes from the string and bow of the violin but I heard Harrostein whistle,

"Violin Sonata. G minor, I like it."

I didn't know what the hell he was talking about but I continued to play. I've never heard this melody before but maybe I did.

Even if I did, I couldn't remember it.

Harrostein left the room and I knew they were staring at me through the cameras in my room.

I moved my fingers to the notes I couldn't name and played more of the song.

It calmed me down. I can't remember hearing this song and I can't remember if I ever played the violin.

I don't know who I am.

But I don't like what I'm becoming.

Steve's POV

I was about to get up from the couch, about to talk to Y/N.

Until I remembered she wasn't here.

she hasn't been here for a long time.

Tony walked in and sat next to me,

"Have you found anything?"

I asked him, hope in my voice.

"As much as I'd like to say yes, we haven't."

I sighed and leaned my head back on the couch.

"It's been 7 months. She wouldn't just leave us like that."

I said under my breath and Tony sighed,

"She's not like that. of course she wouldn't leave us without a goodbye."

I sat up straight and I fiddled with my hands.

"I'm  starting to fear the worst-"

"Don't"

I told Tony and he looked at me,

"She's strong, she can take care of herself. She did so when the Chitauri came to Earth, and she can do it again if she needed to."

I told Tony and he sighed once more,

"You're right."

It was silent between us for a while until Tony spoke up again,

"We've searched everywhere or her, Shield is also trying to find her."

"I know."

I told him and rubbed my palm,

"She's clumsy, she can't just go off the radar completely."

I turned to face him and he turned his head to face me. I sighed and stood up,

"I'm going to my room."

I walked away from him and walked down the hall. I stopped right in front of Y/N's door and I turned my head to face it.

I quickly opened her door and walked in. I closed the door gently and I stared at her stuff that haven't been touched since she left.

I walked over to her bed and I stared at her nightstand. I ran my finger across it and stared at the dust on my fingers.

I was about to walk away when I bumped my foot against the nightstand. I heard a quiet thud and I looked down to the floor and saw the ring I gave her and the necklace Nat gave her.

I picked both up and I stared at them. I opened up her drawer and I rummaged through to see if there was anything at all that could help.

I groaned quietly when I found nothing. I shut the nightstand and walked out her room.

I walked to my own room and laid on my bed. I closed my eyes slightly and I sighed.

Just please be safe, Y/N
