Chapter twenty three

It was the afternoon now, I was laying in bed with my arms behind my head. 

Loki, you there?

I said in my mind and I waited a couple of seconds,

I'm here

I smiled slightly and shifted around in the bed,

What are you doing?

I asked him and I could imagine him chuckling,

I was reading

Of course you were

I responded to him and I brought one of my leg up and down,

What were you doing?

He asked me this time and I smiled,

I was just laying here since breakfast

Have you used those Midgardian machines you love so much?

I chuckled slightly and I crossed my legs,

God, I need to teach you about machines

I smiled again and I rubbed my face,

No, I haven't. It's been on my table all day long

Don't you Midgardians love that thing?

It gets pretty annoying after a while

I told him 

How fun would it be if I taught you how to use one?

I could imagine him rolling his eyes and I chuckled quietly. 

I have to go, I'll talk to you later though.

Alright, bye Love

I smiled and I sat up in bed,

Bye

I closed my eyes for a second and I stood up from my bed. I walked out of my room and I passed Thor on the way to the living room.

"Hey Y/N, where are you going?"

I smiled and waved at him,

"I was just going to go for a walk, wanna come with me?"

He smiled and shrugged. I smiled back at him and we walked out of Stark tower. We walked around the block, some people recognizing us and wanting photos or something like that.

 We walked through a park, barely had any people in sight so it was a nice place to relax and walk around. 

"Do you ever plan on going back to Asgard?"

He smiled and patted my back,

"I have."

I smiled slightly and I pushed him away from me gently,

"Why do you ask?"

He asked with a knowing grin. I blushed slightly and I chuckled,

"you already know, Thor."

He laughed and I ran my tongue along my teeth with a smile. 

I felt eyes on me and I turned over to Thor, who was looking directly in front of him. I turned my head and I saw some people walking around and I smiled. I turned my head back over to Thor and he smiled slightly,

"I wonder what he's doing now."

I smiled slightly and I put my hands in my pockets,

"It's the other way around now."

I raised my brows a bit when I realized I could talk to Loki right now,

Loki?

I'm here

I smiled when he responded almost immediately,

What are you doing right now?

Why ask?

Thor is asking.

I turned over to Thor who turned to me with a smile,

I was in the garden.

Thanks, I love you

I love you too. Make sure that oaf returns you safety.

I remembered that he could see me if he wanted to.

I will personally ensure the god of thunder will return me safely to Stark tower

You know what I meant

I smiled again and turned to Thor,

"He's in the garden."

Thor turned his head over to me,

"how do you know that?"

I chuckled softly and I turned to face in front of me,

"I just know."

I heard him chuckle and we continued walking around the park. We joked around, I mostly joked around The Norse Mythology facts about the Asgardians. 

As we were laughing, I turned my head slightly to see a vast amount of trees. I smiled slightly at them and I found something out there. I squinted my eyes slightly to see what was there but it was too far away for me to tell. 

"You're falling behind, you alright?"

I snapped out of my thoughts and turned back over to Thor, who put a hand on my shoulder,

"Yeah, I just thought I saw a robin."

He furrowed his brows slightly and I smiled,

"A red bird. I thought I saw a bird."

He smiled and nodded. 

"We should start heading back."

He shaded his eyes from the sunset, almost blinding him. I turned forward and I shaded my eyes too,

"Yeah, let's go."

I said and we started heading back to the direction we came from. 

After we left the park, we were walking along a sidewalk, talking and having a good time. A ringing started in my head and I winced slightly. I bent down slightly and held my head in my hands.

"Y/N, are you alright?"

Thor patted my back slightly and I nodded quickly,

"Just a headache."

I said and stood back up, even if the ringing got louder. I smiled at him as if nothing happened and he furrowed his brows a bit before putting a hand on my lower back and we both started to watch,

Tell him to get his hands off of you

I heard Loki's silky voice and I held back a laugh,

Loki, it's alright

No it's not, walk ahead of him.

I laughed silently and Thor walked in front of me. I furrowed my brows a bit and jogged a bit to catch up to his pace,

"Thor, you shouldn't run away-"

"I found that bird you were talking about!"

I furrowed my brows and walked up to him. There was a robin in a tree next to the sidewalk and I smiled,

"They come out in spring."

I told him and he walked up to the tree. I smiled at the robin once more and pulled out my phone. I took a photo of it and it stared right at Thor. It flew away and Thor smiled at me.

We walked back and I showed him the picture of the robin. We talked some more on our way to Stark tower.
