Lucas POV:

I don't want to play games so I try to be direct.

My reputation may proceed me as a player who breaks girls hearts like a snap, but that's not who I am, it's just who I let them see me as.

I let them see me as straight because what would happen if the whole school knew I was gay?

It would all go down in flames.

I'd kicked off the basketball team , kids would make fun of me and whisper about me in the hallways maybe even call me... fag.

I don't like hiding who I am, but it's best for everyone and even if I get together with Hunt, which would never happen because he's a green eyed angel from heaven and I'm just me, Lucas Grant.

I refuse to let my decision impact anyone especially my crush.

I can't even imagine what my parents would say.

They've always been really supportive but that was things like sports and getting good grades and following my dreams, not being gay .

I dug this grave not Hunt, so I have to lie in it.
