Mahir's POV

I finished my meetings for the day and walked to my cabin, only to find my Fiancee waiting for me.

Anu... Why didn't you go home directly??? I spoke irritated from her behaviour.

Actually I was on the way only... But then through Kuhu when I got to know that you haven't gone home yet, I thought of coming here and we could go home together... Anu said excitedly.

I rolled my eyes listening to her explanation and collected my car keys.

Fine Anu... Let's go... I signed agreeing as this is what I have signed in.

As I parked the car in the driveway, my heart flattered as I felt Sona's presence. I shrugged my weird thought and made my way to the door.

As usual Anu held my hand and even though I wanted to pull back my hand as always I didn't do it.

Maa introduced us to Yuvi's GF i.e. Juhi's family and the weird feelings were back. Before I could think of anything I heard someone coughing. I turned towards the source of the sound and my eyes widened seeing Sona.

My eyes were fixed on her only, I saw Juhi passing a glass of water to her. A squeeze in my hand got me out of the shock and I looked at Anu next to me. I fake smiled at her when Juhi's Dad greeted me. Then Kuhu spoke but I couldn't concentrate on anything told to me in the moment.

We sat on the opposite couch of Sona and I felt her gaze on me. After a few minutes I mustered the courage and looked at her. We shared a eye lock for a couple of seconds which she broke.

Soon the elders and busy with the Engagement preparations and Anu asked me to take her for shopping. I unwillingly had to agree to her and I surely didn't miss the look on Sona's face.

I returned home after an hour and got the shocking news of my life. Yuvi excitedly told me that Juhi and Sona would stay in SH only.

I knew there was no escape for me considering the fact that Sona is Juhi's elder sister but I didn't know how was I supposed to live under the same roof with her for 3 months.

3 Years 2 Months 18 Days... Why did you come back in my life again Sona after so many years??? I thought you left my life forever... Why were you looking at me with those accusing eyes as if we broke up because of me??? It was you who choose a job in Paris and left me... You didn't believe that long distance relationship will work and so you easily ended everything between us... Why couldn't I hate you or forget you Sona??? Why do I still Love you Sona??? Even though I'm engaged to Anu, you own my heart Sona...

I spoke to myself or rather to Sona's picture in my phone.

I knew that I wouldn't be able to give Sona's place to Anu, but I got engaged to her for Maa's happiness and mainly due to the unavoidable situation back then. But now I regret doing so, because if I wasn't engaged might be "WE" still could get back together.

Great... Even after you left me... I'm all ready to forgive you so easily... I chuckled at my own thoughts.

Mahir Bhai... Dinner is ready... I heard Kuhu.

I sighed, I had no way of getting out of this situation. So I decided to face her again and went to the dinning table.

The dinner was filled with Yuvi, RJ, Kuhu, Juhi and Sona's nonstop talks. I secretly glanced at Sona when she was busy in talking or eating.

Bela... Haven't you thought about your marriage??? Kuhu asked out of nowhere.

My marriage??? Sona looked confused and uncomfortable with that question.

Hmmm yeah... Juhi is getting engaged being 3 years younger than you... So I just asked it... Kuhu explained.

Right now I want to focus on my career... Sona replied.

I wasn't much surprised listening to her reply, after all she always gives priority to her career then relationships.

For the rest of the Dinner, Sona remained silent. As luck wasn't on my side Sona's room was the right next to mine. I sighed and walked back into my room and saw her doing the same too. I was glad that none noticed that me and Sona hadn't talked to each other.

Sumi Aunty... Please... No... I will get late... Sona protested as Maa was putting another Paratha into her plate.

Don't worry Bela Darling... I'll drop you...  Yuvi told making me frown as why the hell was he calling Sona as Darling.

Yuvi... That's fine... I'll manage... Sona declined Yuvi's offer, obviously she doesn't need anybody's help as she can do everything.

After arguing for a few minutes, it was decided that Yuvi would drop Sona if and only if her office is on way to our office.

I have to go to SGI... At sharp 10 I have a meeting with MS...

I closed my eyes at the coincidence. Now I would have to accompany her to office too and mostly importantly work with her too for 3 months.

Bela... I think you don't need to go to the office for the meeting... Kuhu spoke.

Why Kuhu??? Sona asked confused.

That's because you can talk to MS right here Bela... MS is none other than Mahir Sehgal... Yuvi said.

Di... Didn't you know the full form of SGI i.e. Sehgal Group of Industries??? Juhi asked.

Sona looked shocked and glanced at me for a fraction of minute.

I didn't actually check the name... Anyways it's really good that now I wouldn't have to bother going to the office... Sona joked with a fake smile.

Obviously she wasn't pleased with the fact that I'm MS. Now for the next 3 months me and Sona would have to spend 24 hours with each other unwillingly.

The Engagement is at 6pm if you all forget by any chance... So I want all of you back at home by 2pm... Maa ordered me, Sona and Yuvi as we finished our breakfast.

My headache increased with every passing minute with my lack of sleep and the complications in my life.

The shrill sound of my phone ringtone made me search for my phone. As I looked at the caller's name, I didn't know whether I should receive the call or not.

What would I speak if I receive the call??? Tell the truth that Sona is back... No... I don't think it will be a good idea to inform Ajit and Vish about Sona...

I kept debating about it, until the phone stopped ringing. Later I saw the time it was 1:12pm, remembering Maa's order I thought to leave the office.

For my luck Sona and Yuvi had already left half an hour ago only.
