Juhi's POV

We sat down outside the OT as Vyom's operation was going on.

Everyone were shocked with the sudden turn of events.

The most affected by it was Bela Di. Vyom Bhai is Bela Di's Best Friend.

I don't know much, but all I know is that Vyom Bhai was with Di during her hard times.

Even though Di doesn't agree with me, I know that she is in pain but she doesn't share it with anyone except Vyom.

When I shifted to London for my studies Vyom Bhai became a Brother to me. He pampered and scolded me a lot just like my own Brother would do.

I prayed for his recovery, as that was all I could do now.

From midnight it turned out morning when the Doctor came out of the OT.

The patient is out of danger now... The Doctor's statement made us breath in relief.

Can we meet him??? Di asked.

Right now he is unconscious but still you can meet him once he is shifted to a room... The Doctor left.

2 Hours later, here we all stood in Vyom Bhai's room as he was gaining consciousness now.

Relax... You are safe... The Doctor assured Bhai as he was still trying to open his eyelids.

Bhai closely opened his eyes and looked at everyone of us. Then the room, he looked confused.

Gradually his eyes widened maybe he remembered what had happened.

Just as he was about to speak, he closed his eyes and turned to his right suddenly. Then he again turned to his left.

What's wrong with him???

How are you feeling Vyom??? The Doctor asked.

Bhai was silent and suddenly he looked tensed.

Who are these people??? Bhai asked and we all looked at him shocked.

Vyom... Don't you remember us... Di asked panicked.

Of course I know you Bela... Even Juhi and Yuvi... But these people...

Vyom Bhai said indicated towards Mahir Bhai, RJ, Kuhu, Dad and Maa.

What is the last thing you remember??? The Doctor question.

Hmmm... Let me think... Me, Yuvi, Mark and Steve went on a biking trip...

OMG!!! That was almost a year old incident...

While returning I and Steve met with an accident... That's all I remember... By the way, how is Steve???

He is fine... The Doctor replied before anyone of us.

You need to rest for a while...

The Doctor as he injected something to Bhai.

Vyom has lost the memory of the past 1 year due to the impact of the fall on his brain... But as of now, his reports are perfectly fine... With treatment his memory shall be back... But it will take time...
