Satoru was pacing around the entryway of the school wearing his casual clothing with no glasses or blindfold. He had noticed your behavior over the few days since he had to reject you. He was nervous more than ever. He was going to talk to you today, but you weren't in the area at all.
He checked every place, including the places where you always went alone. Those were the places that helped you clear your mind. He was growing paranoid by the second. Everything felt so heavy on his shoulders as he thought the worst.
He was scared. Scared just like the time when you almost lost it when he had to break the news that Suguru was gone. He had sworn to protect you from any harm including emotional harm, but the way you started to grow feelings for him, he couldn't accept them. He was so worried now.
"Where the hell is she? I checked every place and I can't find a single trace of her," he mumbled to himself as he saw you in the distance.
You looked exhausted. The look in your eyes made you seem like you were just a few steps from dropping dead. And truthfully you haven't been doing too well. Now that you made a deal with the devil.
He relieved a sigh and took a step towards you. A sharp gasp escaped your chapped lips causing you to look up. Satoru was frozen when you saw your appearance. Your life looked so drained. That same sparkling in your eyes was gone completely. It was a matter of time.
Your eyes widened like saucers and you turned to run away from him. Your chest started to constrict which resulted in many choke-wrenching coughs escaping your lips. You were growing closer to death and it was all because of a single person who was in your vicinity.
"Y/N! Wh- Y/N! Don't run! Where are you even going?!" he yelled as you followed right after you.
Tears built up on your lower eyelid as they slipped from your face. They flew behind you as you continued your trek to who knows where. You were growing closer to the scary part of life and you didn't like it.
A painful cough resonated from your lungs up towards your throat and out your mouth. With all the running, you began to feel so out of breath. The coughing, the running, the long exhaustion from your problems was pushing you to death.
Gojo was relentless either way. He chased you through the many trees around the school. You left trails of bloody petals from the blossoms that grew in your lungs. A fearful cry escaped your eyes as you started to feel even worse with the squeezing in your chest.
Groans left your lips as you pushed through bushes too. Sharp nicks and pokes became stabbing in your lungs as you knew that Satoru was catching up. There wasn't any way that you could lose him since he was the greatest.
"Y/N! Stop running!" he called out as your vision was blurred with a fiery of tears.
Your body was starting to shut down as blood became more evident on the many petals that you coughed out. Satoru had looked down as the pink petals fell from your figure. He furrowed his eyebrows, yet continued on the chase.
Your eyes begin to become hazy as your chest constricts even more. Feels like you're suffocating and soon you miss your step which causes you to trip. Your body falls flat with your arms trying to pull you back on your legs.
Your heavy breathing increased with the leaves getting consistent as you coughed out. Tears mixed with your blood hit the soft dirt and you're forced to stay down as you hear Satoru's breathing coming closer.
You whimper as he slows down while his eyes lay on your form. Your body is shaking and just about to collapse once again. He rushes towards you and once he touches your shoulder you're forced to find the last string of hope.
Satoru brings your body towards his chest as he glances down at your half-lidded eyes stare into his icy-blue ones. Your sunken cheeks showed how much you weren't taking care of yourself. The way your blood escaped from both ends of your lips.
A gurgled cough leaves your esophagus with some of your blood hitting his face. He is in absolute shock to know that you're coughing out blood-covered petals. He's most definitely scared now. Seeing you in such a state pulled strings in his heart.
"Stop...you're making it worse," you let out as best you can, trying to thrash out his grip.
It's pathetic on you're end. The fact that he had so much control over your well-being hurt the most. You can't even operate on your own without him and it shows. You could never. You could never ever live without him.
You close your eyes to stop from breaking down even further from the sight of him. Tears rolled from the ends of your eyes. He brushes those away as he begins to carry you in his arms. He rushes out of the forest of trees and towards the school where Ieiri was. He was fighting life now that you were in a heartbreaking state.
"Satoru stop," your scratchy voice warns him as he continues to race as fast as possible.
You open your eyes slowly and take a gander up at the person holding you in their grasp. For the first time in your life. For the first time after Suguru's death, he was finally seen at his lowest state of life.
He was the strongest, the best, the most powerful of all. He was viewed as a god. The savior of everyone. The person who was looked up to as the strongest jujutsu sorcerer of all time. He was the best, but at that very moment, he was not the supreme sorcerer anymore.
Gojo Satoru was crying.
"Don't say anything. You're hurting me," he grits his teeth as you noticed his jaw clench as he kept his eyes ahead.
A sad smile began to plaster on your lips. You closed your eyes as you are pulled into deafening silence and complete darkness. In life, things are never fair and this wasn't the fairest part of yours. Truly, it was an adventure, but a sad one. You were glad to meet him. The man you grew to fall in love with.
In another life, perhaps he would find it in himself to love you.
