CHAPTER-1
“WAKE UP!” someone shouted in my ear.
I pulled my pillow over my head to drown out the annoying voice.
“Rhea, you’d better wake up fast. I am not going to come again to wake you up” said my ‘sorry excuse’ for a brother.
I looked around sleepily. Wait a second. My brother? In my room?
“WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING IN HERE ” I shouted.
“Later loser” he said and left my room slamming the door on his way out.
I looked groggily at my ‘THE SIMPSONS’ clock and realized with a start that I had overslept.
I groaned and leapt up hitting my foot with the bed-post in the process.
I jumped around the room holding my foot comically and guess what ?
My neighbor , who was let me tell you a very ,very cute blonde saw me jumping and waved at me smiling in amusement. I waved back trying to smile through the pain.
Today was so not my day.
With only 20 minutes to get ready for school , I hopped into the shower and got ready with a speed which was alien to most of the humans I knew (e.g- my stupid bro).
I ran downstairs, grabbed my messenger bag which I had set earlier last night and the sandwich my mum had made for me .
I quickly shoved my lunch and sipper in my bag gave mum a quick kiss and said “ Sorry mum , I’m running late. I’ll eat on the way. Bye , love you.”
I hurried to the front door and ran all the way to the bustop just in time to see the bus arriving. Thank god!! Maybe this day wouldn’t turn out to be as bad as I thought. Maybe.
