Promise Me No Promises a Cash and Maverick Fanfiction

Part 17

Cash's POV
"Stop being jealous Cash, it doesn't look good one you." Mav said to me. He walked back to the couch and sat with Stacie. I wasn't being jealous, I was being real. He's sleeping with Stacie, my ex, so how am I supposed to feel? Honestly, I feel betrayed by him. And I'm pissed at him.
Suddenly I think of something. If Stacie cheated on me, does that mean she might cheat on him?
I walk to josh and Mychael's room. They're making TikToks. "Hey guys." I say to them as I walk in.
"Oh, hey Cash. How are you feeling." Josh says.
"meh." I say.
"Are things between you and Stacie awkward again?" Mycheal asks.
"I don't know anymore." I say, sitting down on the bed.
"Why did she break up with you?" Josh asks.
"It doesn't matter, that was a few months ago." I say, trying to forget.
"Come on Cash, it obviously matters." Mycheal says.
"Ok fine, but first of all, she didn't break up with me, I broke up with her." I say bluntly.
"But if you wanted to be with her, why did you two break up?" Josh asked.
"If I tell you, you have to promise not to tell anyone else."
"Ok." They both say.
"She cheated on me."
"What! Really?"
"Yeah." I say looking down. All of a sudden I get a notification on my phone. It says Mav posted a new video on TikTok. I click it, and the video caption says they are dating now. I seriously want to die right now.
"Ummm... who did she cheat on you with?" Josh asks.
"Mav."
"Oh my god really?" Josh asks. "I never thought she would do that."
"Neither did I, until she did."
"So then, would she cheat on Mav, and maybe get back together with you?" Mycheal asks.
"Maybe."
"You could try to get her to cheat on him." Mycheal says.
"Yeah..."
"I feel bad for Mav now." Josh says, laughing.
"Payback for when Stacie cheated with him." I say.

Stacie's POV
Mav and I are sitting on the couch together binge watching season 3 of Stranger Things. We've been watching literally all day. It's 7:00pm right now. When the episode we're watching ends, we decide to take a break from watching it. I decide to go live on TikTok. I start the live and immediately a few thousand people join. "Hi guys!" I says to all of them. I start looking through the comments.
Bob1837: where's Mav
Steve2827: r u and Mav dating
Carlo20387: kiss
I like reading the comments sometimes because it's interesting to see what people have to say. "Where's Mav? He's right here." I pull Mav's arm and he leans in so the camera can see him. I give him a quick kiss. "Are you and Mav dating? Yes we are." Then I see that Cash joined the live stream.

"You ship me and Cash? Well, that's not happening." When I say this, Mav starts laughing.
After about an hour of live-streaming, I turn it off and Mav and I watch more Stranger things. About halfway through an episode, I get up and go to the bathroom. When I get back, Cailee is saying something to Mav.

Maverick's POV
After Stacie left to go to the bathroom, Cailee came over and sat really close next to me. She wrapped an arm around me. "Cailee stop." I say, moving away from her.
"Oh come on Mav, you know how I feel about you..." She says to me.
"I know Cailee... but I don't feel that way about you. Try to understand ok?" Stacie then gets back.
"What's going on here?" She asks me. Cailee quickly walks away and Stacie sits back down next to me.
"Nothing, Cailee was just... well she has feelings for me, and she feels like she always has to tell me like everyday, even though I'm with you." I say to her.
"Oh." She laughs a little. We turn the show back on, and a few minutes later, she falls asleep. I turn off the show, and gently shake her so that she wakes up.
"Stacie, let's get to bed."
"Ok." She sleepily says. I help her get up, and we go to her room. She puts on her pajamas and then puts my hoodie back on. I love it when she wears my hoodies. I take off my shirt and shorts, so that I'm only in my boxers, and I get in bed with her. She wraps her arms around me, and our legs become entangled with each other's. I give her a kiss on the forehead. And then we fall asleep.
