Promise Me No Promises a Cash and Maverick Fanfiction

Part 12

Stacie's POV
Cash and I broke up 2 weeks ago. I finally got over him, and I think he got over me too. I think this because he invited me over today. I'm walking to his house right now. When I get there, I knock, and he opens the door. "Hi." I say.
"Hi Stacie." He says back. He's still not smiling. Oh no. "I wanted to talk to you." We both sat on the couch.
"Ok, what do you want to talk about."
"Well, I just wanted to say sorry, and I shouldn't have ignored you for like 2 weeks."
"It's ok, we were both mad. I forgive you." I say back to him.
"Can we be friends again?" He asks, I can see a slight smile on his face.
"Yes." I lean over and hug him. He hugs back. "And Cash, I am sorry for what I did."
"It's ok, that's in the past." He says.
"But I feel really bad about it, still." I say.
"Let's just forget about it, ok?" He says, and goes to hold my hand.
"Ok." I say back, my hand going to his hand.
"Well, I have to go, but you can stay here if you want." He says to me.
"Oh, ok. I'll stay here. Your house has better snacks." I laugh.
"Hey, don't eat everything, ok?" He says in between laughs. And then he leaves. And I get a text from Mav.
Mav: hi
Me: hi
Me: I'm in your house
Mav: y 🤨

Just then, Mav opened the door to his room, and walked over to me. "Did you and Cash make up?"
"Yeah, we're cool now." I say.
"That's good." He says, now sitting down next to me. He's shirtless. Oh my god, why does he have to look so good shirtless. He has a slight six pack. I'm totally blushing right now. "So are you going to be alright?" I snap out of my daze.
"Yeah, I think so." I smile at him. He moves closer and hugs me.
"So, Cash and I are going to Hawaii with a few other TikTokers, and I was wondering if you wanted to come too."
"Ooh that sounds fun! I'll ask my mom. I hope I can go. So who else is going?"
"It's going to be me, Cash, Mycheal, Sarah, Brooke, the other Brooke, Josh, Cailee, and hopefully you."
"Where are you guys staying?" I ask.
"We rented a vacation home in Honalulu. It's beach front, and it has a pool."
"Oh that sounds so nice." I say, now daydreaming about Hawaii.
Mav and I continued talking for a while and then Cash got back, and I went home. When my mom got home, I made sure to find the perfect movement to ask her about Hawaii. She was sitting on the couch drinking tea, and I thought this was the perfect moment, so I sat down next to her. "Mom, I have something I want to ask you."
"Ok sweetie, what is it?"
"Well, some of my friends are going to Hawaii for a week during summer, and they invited me to go with them."
"Oh honey, no. That could be dangerous."
"But mom, there will be adults there with us. And the house we rented is private." By adults, I meant the few camera guys, and the TikTokers that were 18 years old, or older.
"What part of Hawaii?" My mom asks. Wait. Is she actually considering this?
"Honalulu." I reply, trying not to get to hopeful.
"And which friends are going?" Oh no. Should I lie?
"Some of my TikTok friends."
"Oh honey, then no, online friends are not really friends, they might not even exist! They could try to rape you. They could actually be like 70 years old!"
"Mom, it's ok. I know them really well, and we FaceTime a lot." My mom looked hesitant.
"Will we have to pay?" She asks.
"Yeah, But I have the money for a plane ticket there and back. I would just need some spending money, for food and stuff."
"Ok."
"Really?" I ask, shocked.
"You can go, I figure you're old enough, just don't do anything you'll regret ok?"
"Ok."
"Oh, and don't do drugs and don't have sex."
"Ok. Thanks mom! I love you! Thank you so much!" I am so excited.
"Don't say I never did anything for you." My mom joked.
"Ok." I went to my room and immediately texted Mav.
Me: I CAN GO!!!!😆🌴
Mav: YAY!!!! You're mom is actually letting you??
Me: YES! I AM SO SHOCKED!
Me: AND EXCITED 😅
Mav: it's going to be so much fun!
Me: I know I can't wait
Me: I feel like I'm going to explode!! I a good way.
Mav: lol 😂
Me: well i gtg, I'll see u soon! 😁💜
Mav: ok bye Stacie 💜🌴
This is going to be the best Summer ever!

So I think I might recreate Cash and Maverick's  trip to Hawaii, but my own version of it. Do you guys like the idea? Or is it just stupid? Someone please comment!
