Promise Me No Promises a Cash and Maverick Fanfiction

Part 7

Cash's POV
I had just finished texting Stacie. Damn... I wish I could be home right now. "Cash!" I hear Lani call. I walk back over to her and her friends. "Cash they're spending the night." She tells me when I walk in.
"Oh ok. I'll sleep on the couch I guess." I tell her.
"No, Kat already called dibs on the couch. You and Lacy will have to share the guest bedroom." As Lani said this. Lacy looked over at me and smiled. I really have to sleep next to someone who likes me. This is going to be awkward as fuck.
"Ok then what about Cole?" I ask
"He's sleeping with me." She said as she leaned her head on his shoulder. Cole blushed and leaned his head on hers. I walk over to the guest bedroom and find that lacy is already in there.
"Do you really have a girlfriend?" She asks me.
"Yes."
"So I shouldn't try hitting on you?"
I roll my eyes, "I'm going to take a shower." I start walking towards the guest bathroom.
Lacy walks over to me, "Can I join?" She asks in a seductive voice.
"No lacy, you can't." I say, now really starting to get annoyed.
"Oh come on Cash, I just wanna have some fun..." she says, her hands move down and try to undo my belt. She licks her lips and looks up at me.
I move away. I can't possibly cheat on Stacie. That would break her heart.
Lacy moves closer, almost pinning me to the wall. Her hands go back down and continue undoing my belt. I gently push her away and go to take a shower. I close the door, just to find out that the door doesn't have a lock. Oh no. I take off my shirt and finish undoing my belt. When I'm completely naked, I get in the shower. A few minutes into my shower, I think I hear the door to the bathroom open. "Cash I wanna join..." I hear lacy say.
"Lacy no. I couldn't do that to Stacie."
"Why not? She's probably doing your brother right now." Lacy says, now sounding a bit annoyed.
"She wouldn't do that." I say, reassuring myself.
"Think about it Cash, she's home alone with your brother."
What she said was true, Stacie was going to be staying at my house for the week I was gone... Could she actually be cheating on me? If she is, then maybe I should cheat on her too.
When I didn't answer to Lacy, she said, "Cash let me join you... It'll be fun... and it saves water" she laughed "come on Cash..." I decided not to answer. "Ok I'm coming in." She decided. She pulled the shower curtains back, and got in the shower with me.
"Lacy get out."
"No. I already got my hair wet. Can't get out now." We we're both standing under the hot water now. Lacy reached past me and turned up the heat. It started getting really steamy and she put her hands around my neck. She then gets on her toes and kisses me. Oh god what am I doing. I quickly pull away.
"Lacy... I can't. I just can't." I get out of the shower and dry off. I leave her in the shower. I get into bed and a little while later she joins me with a smile on her face. "Don't try anything else with me." I warn her. Her smile fades and I  turn off the lights. About 30 minutes later, we can hear people moaning. Oh no. Lani and Cole. Ugh.
"Oh my gosh." Lacy says, clearly having heard the noises.
She gets up and goes over to her bag. She pulls out some earbuds. She plugs them into her phone, and then puts them in. I do the same, except instead of listening to music, I go on tik tok. Mav had posted a few new videos. Stacie was in 2 of them. Lacy saw me watching them, and said, "is that your girlfriend?"
"Yeah."
"She's a lucky girl, to be with you. She's really pretty too. I'm sorry." She says
"For what?" I ask
"You know, for earlier. I shouldn't have come on to you like that."
"It ok. Let's just forget about it. Ok?"
"Ok. Can we still be friends?" She smiled
"Yeah." I lean over and hug her. She hugs me back. When the moaning from Lani's room stops, we both fall asleep.
In the morning, when I wake up I realize that lacy is wrapped around me. I get up, being careful not to wake her, and then I go to the living room. Everyone else is already up. I walk over to Lani and say, "it sounded like you had a fun night." Kat overheard my remark, and laughed really hard. Lani blushed, and Cole walked away. I went to go sit on the couch, and then Lacy walked over.
"So did you and Cash have a fun night?" Kat said in between giggles.
"Kat seriously? No. We. Did. Not." Lacey said
"Jeez it was just a joke..." Kat said. And with that, Lacy said, "I have to go. Bye guys. She looked at me for a moment, looking like she wanted to say more, but didn't, then she left. I felt a little bit sad for her, I don't know why, but I did.
I have two more days here. I hope I survive.
