Lies (Part II)

Adam was late to lunch because Mr Warrington kept him back after class for being 25 minutes late. He liked Mr Warrington so it really wasn't that bad and at least they didn't have Miss Halfway because she got so angry it scared even Mr Faith to death, and that was saying something.

He stepped into the cafeteria and didn't even get any food because he spotted MJ right away with Ned, Peter was nowhere to be seen. He grabbed her sleeve and simply said, "me, you, bathroom, now" and walked away. MJ got up and followed him to the boys bathroom, it was lunch so no one would ask any questions because they were too busy in the cafeteria.

The moment they stepped through the door Adam started yelling. "You bitch! You whore! You fucking slut! Don't touch my man do you hear me! I may have the common decency to never touch you but that doesn't mean I won't get someone else to, understand!" MJ stood there, wide eyed and in silence. "Ok, I get it. It shouldn't of happened and I'm sorry. It just kind of- well I like Peter, like likey like him". "Yeah and he's mine bitch so back off! I don't want you anywhere near him or I swear to god I will get someone to fuck you up" Adam said silently, "now I'm taking Peter home and we are gonna talk like adults, after that I'll see you tomorrow and we will talk like adults too". "Initial reaction, yeah I understand it",  "oh don't get all smart ass with me, just shut the fuck up and keep your hands off my man ok?". Adam didn't  let her answer and just left for Peter's apartment, practically running through the school hallways and out of the front entrance to the subway station.

Ned has texted him the address to Peter's apartment and it was only across the street from his old one. The moment Adam knocked on the door, Peter answered it and Adam barged in and slammed the door behind him. "It's over there" Peter said, pointing in the direction of his room. Adam practically ran there, three his bag on the floor before standing by the bed. Peter walked so he stood right in front of Adam. Adam just simply said "hold me" and broke down in tears. Peter lay on the bed and Adam got in after him before resting his head on Peter's chest, just like they used to. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry" Peter kept saying repeatedly, over and over again, as if it was a spell that could make everything better. Adam just cried until Peter's shirt was wet and he was sleepy.

He didn't even have to think about it, even in these circumstances, Adam was safe and happy. He closed his eyes, letting himself fall asleep to the sound of Pete's heartbeat and the little I love you so much, I'm so sorry, I'm so so sorry's falling from Peter's lips. Adam even heard Peter say "I love you and only you, it will never happen again and I can't say how sorry I am for it to even begin to cover how bad I feel for hurting you, don't leave me, I need you, I want you, I love you, I'm yours and yours only".

So Adam lay their pretending to sleep, letting Peter's words rest in the room before finally speak. "It was an ugly thing that you did Peter, absolutely hideous. But you are mine Peter, my cute, adorable manchild, bean and I forgive you. I'm sorry I hit you and called you names but I want you to tell me something. He sat up and looked into Peter's eyes, "did you kiss her?" He hesitated before admitting the truth, "we kissed twice". Adam sighed, "did she kiss you like I do?" "It wasn't better or worse, it wasn't as amazing as it is with you. It felt good but it didn't feel right and it feels right with you and I-" Adam kissed Peter's lips, letting his bottom lip in between his mouth a little, kissing him before pulling away. "I've never done that before" Peter said breathless, "first french kiss was a good one hey?" Adam laughed before laying back down on Peter's chest. "Yeah it was" he replied before sighing contently before breathing in Adam's scent. "It will take me a while Pete, I'm not gonna lie, for me to regain my trust in you. I want you to know that." Peter simply kissed Adam's head and replied "hey, as long as I've got you, it's ok" before they both closed their eyes and fell asleep.
