ROUND 3 WINNERS Summer 2019

A very big congratulations to everyone who has made it tho Round 3 of the competition. We had a really hard time judging this round as every qualifying entry was superb! We have, however, selected our winners!

As a reminder, Round 3, or The Character Development Round was the last and final round to this awards in which we read the third chapter (or more) of your book. Just like the last round, points were given, only this time they were based on the following:

・Character Image Clarity

・Character Relatablity

・Character Development

In addition to these points, Round 3 qualifiers were also given the opportunity to earn extra points, for it was this round that made this award so unique.

All qualifying stories' third chapters were read to a young child. (Mature and overtly horrifying scenes were omitted in the reading.) As he loves stories and pays special attention to those with interesting characters, extra points were given to those stories that he paid extra attention to.
