National Snake Day

A/N: this is pretty short because I write stuff with "deadlines" in advance and I have an oral exam I really need to practice for and a Math project to finish up. And I can't write fluff without it sounding 50% more cringey than my angsty fics (not that my angsty fics aren't cringey in the first place) so I decided to spare you. But nevertheless, here's a fluffy fic.

Joe's POV

I smile as I watch my extremely talented girlfriend perform on stage from the back of the stadium. The sound of fans screaming the words to Look What You Made Me Do reverberates around the stadium. Anyone is able to tell that everyone in the stadium was entirely focused on her, even the locals who just want to stop by because Taylor Swift is performing around where they live. The electricity she has created here is incredible and I am positive every single person in the FirstEnergy Stadium right now can feel it too. 

When she finishes the first half of the bridge, she says into her microphone while jumping down the tilted mini-stage, "Happy National Snake Day, my favourite day of the year!" Somehow, the already deafening screaming in the stadium grows even louder and my smile grows even wider. The swifties are definitely all gonna freak out when someone posts a video of this on social media.

"Hey babe," I greet her, wrapping my arms around her from behind her as I step into her dressing room.

"I'm sweaty!" she giggles while adorably trying and failing to wriggle away from my arms and nudge me away.

"Does it look like I care?" I mumble into her hair, kissing her forehead.

When I release her from my embrace, I joke, "You said that National Snake Day is your favourite day of the year, but what about our anniversary? Are you saying that we're less important?"

The shock on her face quickly melts away when she turns around and sees the smirk on my face. She pouts, jokingly hitting my arm, "Don't play with me like that, Alwyn!"

I chuckle, "You're adorable, you know that, Swift?"

"I'm with someone who constantly reminds me of that every day, so yes, I'm very aware," she smiles.

All of a sudden, she wraps her arms around my waist, puts her head on my chest and mumbles, "I love you."

"I love you too, more than you will ever know."

Speaking of YNTCD, there was this Under Armour thing at school today and when I went near there, YNTCD WAS PLAYING SKOKSOWSKSOAMXOWMIE AND THEY WEREN'T JUST PLAYING IT THEY WERE ABSOLUTELY BLASTING IT AND MY FRIEND (WHO WAS ORIGINALLY IN FRONT OF ME BUT I CAUGHT UP TO HER) SAID THAT SHE WANTED TO RECORD IT FOR ME IN CASE I DIDN'T HEAR IT (somehow she was hyperventilating more than I was idk how that works but ok) BECAUSE WHEN SHE HEARD IT SHE IMMEDIATELY THOUGHT OF ME AND THAT RIGHT THERE IS THE GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT OF MY LIFE

Anyway NOTHING HAPPENED ON JULY 13TH IT'S EXACTLY LIKE MAY 13TH WHY TAYLOR

ALSO I FORGOT TO MENTION THIS IN THE LAST FIC BUT AMAZON PRIME DAY CONCERT WAS AMAZING I NEVER KNEW I NEEDED AN ACOUSTIC VERSION OF WTNY UNTIL I GOT IT AND THE WAY SHE EMPHASISED ON "LIARS AND DIRTY DIRTY CHEATS" IN SIO? QUEEN 

AND BENJI HAS GOTTEN SO BIG WOW

SPEAKING OF CATS (wow I am killing it with the transitions today) IS CATS TRAILER COMING IN TWO DAY? IM SO FREAKING EXCITED
