"Where have you been?" Jin asks the in-coming Yoongi while sipping his champagne slowly.
"Talking to Haewon. She was crying."
That almost gets Jin to spit on his champagne. "What? Why?"
Yoongi shrugs. "She said she missed her parents which understandable. But I think that has something to do with the fact that Japanese girl is here."
"That Takemitsu girl?" Jin is furious when Yoongi nods. "What the hell is Jungkook doing?"
Yoongi is thinning his lips. He doesn't like that fact is either. Well, he doesn't like the fact Haewon has to marry Jungkook either, but he can't do anything about it.
That little girl loves Jungkook so much, too much for his liking, and Hoseok is an asshole.
He will deal with this later. Right now, there is more pressing issue. His eyes sweep the room while he elongates his neck.
"Why are you looking like a meerkat suddenly?"
Yoongi is looking up to Jin with not-so-amused expression. But his friend only looking him back still with a questioning look.
He sighs. "I'm looking for the Oks. They know The Jeons. They must be here somewhere."
"Because of Yeri?" Yoongi nods. "Then why bringing her here when you know that the Oks will be here? It's so unlike you. You are the most careful bastard I ever known."
Yes. Why?
Actually, Yoongi doesn't know the answer to that himself.
He shrugs. "I just feel like doing it."
The reply to that statement is a laugh. Yoongi looks at Jin with the same not amused expression again.
"You know but you don't want to admit it to yourself, Min Yoongi," Jin says as he shakes his head.
"Admit what?" he challenges.
"That you're falling for her."
That gets him thinking, but he doesn't say his reply. He's not denying it nor agreeing with it.
That's a start, Jin thinks. It's about time Yoongi comes out of his dark hole. If it's with someone who looks like his past love, so be it. But Jimin said Yeri is nothing like Nari. She's not the quiet solemn type, like most of Yoongi preferred girls.
How many months has this 'relationship' passed anyway? Jin counted in his head. It actually a record he isn't bored with her yet.
Jin smiles at that realization. The vampire gets his heart back to beat again at last. That's a good news.
"Why are you saying that?" Yoongi questions. "Why are you saying that I'm falling for her?"
Jin strikes his brows. "Are you not? Yoongi, you hunt her down and won't back down for nothing for her! You never went to using dirty tricks for a girl before. Have you realize that?"
Yoongi gulps.
Falling is actually a scary word for him. Never again, he thinks. He doesn't want to come back to the past again. He doesn't want to feel that kind of despair again, if she leaves him.
If she leaves him.
Would he even allow that to happen?
He has to admit Yeri makes him feel more attached than anybody or anything in this world. She makes him feel like he has to know her every moves, her every activity, her every feels. He thinks he will go out of his mind if he doesn't. This past few days is the prove.
