Let's begin! ~Newsies Fanfic

with a toothbrush...

For a while we just wander trough the city, making some pictures on our way. Eventually Josh stops and turns around to us.

"Alright, I want ice cream." He says as a state of fact. I laugh as I look around. "Josh, it's October." I say. "So? Doesn't mean I can't have ice cream." He says while grabbing his phone.

"What are you doing?" Ben asks. "I'm googling (is that a word) an icebar thing that's still open." We all laugh at him as we watch him scrolling trough his phone.

"Yes!" He screams, holding his phone into the air like it is a trophy. "What?" Sky asks him. "I found one! It's a 10 minute walk, but I found one!" He yells happily before starting to run.

We all look after him, shrug, and then start to run after him. 10 minutes later we're all sitting in a nearby park with our ice cream.. in October.. 

I hear my phone ring and when I see what it is I see it's Jeremy with an incoming video call.

"Hey guys Jeremy is calling." I say as I point at my phone. "Well! Accept it!" Josh says. I nod as the boys gather around me.

"Hey Lizzy, boys." Jeremy says once I accept the call. The boys behind me wave at him. "Hey dad." I hear them say in unison.

"Why did you call?" I ask him. "I was wondering how your trip was."

"It was great, and that was just the trip." I say with a laugh. "Oh! Jacob made us do a flash mob at the airport, you can already find it on our youtube channel." Josh says behind me.

"Yep! Oh and we kind of yelled trough the plane while everybody was sleeping." Dan says slowly. "I would be more suprised if you told me everyone stayed quiet and respected the other passengers." Jeremy says with a laugh.

"We should head back to the hotel, it's getting late and we're going on dinner with the whole cast." I hear Chaz say beind me. I nod and look back at my phone.

"We have to go dad, dinner is starting soon." I say to him. I see Jeremy nodding before looking at a spot behind me. I turn around with a frown to realise he's looking at Ben.

"Oh no! Oh no no no no no! You're not gonna do what I think you're gonna do!" I yell at Jeremy. I see him starting to grin a he looks back at me.

"Can you give me Ben for a second?" He asks. I hesitate before giving the phone to Ben. I hear Jeremy ask him to walk away from the others.

I watch as Ben get's up and walks away. I was about to follow him when Sky pushed me back down. "He's gonna be okay, relax." He says with a laugh. I pout but stay at my spot.

Eventually Ben ends the call and walk back over to us. He looks pale and stares at me for a few seconds. "Alright he's not gonna be okay." Sky says, starting to laugh.

The others joined him as I get up and walk over to Ben. "What did he say?" I ask him. "If I ever hurt you, he's gonna deliver me a slowly and painful dead." He says slowly. "Oh you have to be freaking kidding me." I mumble to myself.

"With a toothbrush." Ben ads before looking down at me. I hear the guys behind me start to laugh even harder. "Elgh, he was just joking." I say. "I know, but I'm still scared." I hear Ben say.

I laugh as I grab his hand and we start to walk over towards the hotel.

That evening I'm lying on my bed. Stephanie is currently in the bathroom, brushing her teeth as I get a call from Caitlynn.

"Hey." I say as I pick up the phone. "YOU'RE DATING BEN FREAKING COOK AND YOU DIDN'T THINK IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO TELL ME!" She yells into the phone.

"Goodevening to you too." I say as she stops yelling at me. "No but seriously! Why didn't you tell me!" I sigh as I look at my phone. "Cait, ever considered Ben and I didn't want anyone to know yet. That day wasn't the best day in my life." I say to her.

"What happened back then? And who asked who?!"

"Cait it's really late an-"

"Lizzy Cook Jordan! You're jot gonna end this conversation!"

"Cook Jordan?" I ask her. Confused why she also used Ben's last name.

"Yeah, you're his now. That's what you get when you get into a relationship with a guy!"

"Cait we're not even married." I say with a laugh. "Yet! But tell me, who asked who?!"

"Aks Micheal, he knows."

"So you told my brother but not me! I am disappointed in you young lady!"

"I have to go Caitlynn."

"Alright, you got away with it this time! But next time I get you! Oh and reserve Sky for me please! He's cute!" I laugh as I end the call and get off of my bed.

"Who was that?" Stephanie asks when she gets out of the bathroom. "Caitlynn, she found out Ben and I started dating. She laughs as she falls down on her own bed.

"Well, I heard her screaming in the bathroom" Steph says with a laugh. "Yeah, she was not amused I told her brother earlier then her." I say with a laugh.

Hey guys! I just send in 'pure luck? Or destiny?' For the Wattys2019. I have no idea how this works and what's gonna happen. But yeah, we will see. For now, a huge thanks to all of you, for supporting this story, enjoying it. Without you guys I wouldn't even send it in.
