I heard the click of the doors and snapped my head up to see police men walking out with...

Chenle and Jisung.

I gasped and looked in shock as tears started to form. Although they might've hated me it was an emotional moment.

Jisung saw me and poked chenle who then also looked at me. They started whispering something.

The guards went inside, leaving Chenle and Jisung. Maybe they were getting Jeno? He was supposed to be released today too.

But I kept that at the back of my head.

I got up and slowly walked over to Jisung and Chenle. It just felt right. Beomgyu followed me.

'You guys..' I said.

'Y/N...' chenle said hesitantly. I cleared my throat. 'It's been a while...'

They nodded. There was something I wanted to ask them but I was too scared to...

I hesitantly said, 'are you guys going to...change? Or...'

Chenle and Jisung looked at each other and then looked at me with slight smiles.

Chenle held out his hand to me. 'We'll try...friends?'

I stared at his hand...it had been a whole year maybe they were serious?

Right as he thought I wasn't going to do it and started lowering his hand I took it.

'Friends.' I sniffed and smiled at them.

'Here's the last one,' I heard and looked over to the doors again.

The smile on my face was quickly gone as I nervously waited for Jeno to come out.

The guards brought through a boy looking down, dragging his feet. They let go of him and one patted him on the back.

'Make sure you don't come back here,' the guard said and looked up at me. 'There's someone here for you,' and walked away.

My heart started racing at an inhuman speed when Jeno looked up and saw me.

His jaw touching the floor and his eyes went wide open.

'Y/N!' He came to me and was about to hug me but suddenly stopped.

'Nevermind...you don't want to see me do you?' He said as I saw tears in his eyes.

I quickly shook my head and my tears started to fall.

'Of course I do,' I pulled him into a hug. 'I trust you now...I'm sorry about before.'

He stayed frozen for a second before slowly hugging me back.

'I should be sorry, Y/N. I-'

I cut him off. 'Let's not do this right now Jeno.' I said quickly which made him quiet.

Suddenly he let go and cleared his throat. I saw him glance at Beomgyu who stood there in confused and shock and a little bit of...anger as well.

Was he jealous? I knew I messed up at that moment. 'Uh, Beomgyu, remember Jeno?'

He nodded. 'I remember them all from the conference.' He said.

'Ah...Jeno, Jisung, Chenle, you didn't really meet Beomgyu did you?'

They shook their heads.

'Well, now you have! He's actually-'

'Her boyfriend,' he cut me off and put his hand around my waist whilst pulling me close to him.

One thing I didn't notice was the inner sadness in Jeno's eyes that time.
