ALMOST A YEAR LATER
'Y/N! Is it done, yet?' asked my friend, Sana while coming up behind me.
I was sitting at my desk with my tablet and laptop open, finishing up a drawing.
'Yea, I think I'll have it handed in tomorrow.' I replied while looking down at my piece of art.
If you couldn't tell, I got the job. Yes, I got it and now I also got my own apartment, a small one, but it was fine for me.
It was 5 pm and almost sunset outside. Golden rays of the sun shone through the glass windows of the half-empty office.
I stood up and turned to Sana. 'I think I'll get going now, I have someone to see at 6.'
'Oh, okay, I'll see you tomorrow then.'
I smiled and nodded to her as she walked off after waving. I quickly packed up my things and swung my side bag ober my shoulders before leaving the office.
Who was I seeing? Well, good question.
First of all, I had to head off to the flower shop, which was now bigger and also had a small cafe inside.
I entered the shop to see Ms Choi at the desk look up at me. I smiled at her and she smiled back. 'What brings you here?' she asked cheerfully.
I had been living in my own apartment for 2 months now.
'I just wanted to grab a snack because I have to go somewhere else from here.' I informed her before Beomgyu walked in through the back door.
It had been 6 months since our break up, we were both mostly over it by now and were on good terms.
I waved to him but all I got was a quick smile before he rushed off to the cafe area. 'I don't remember Beomgyu helping out the girls in the cafe the last time I came round?' I asked Ms Choi who just chuckled at me.
'You know, I think there's someone he likes out of the baristas.' she said as she looked at him from a distance.
'Oh, well, that's exciting isn't it?' we both laughed.
'Well then, I'll just get a snack and be going!' I waved off Ms Choi and walked over to the cafe, there weren't many customers since it was slightly late but there were one or two.
I saw Beomgyu talking to one of the female baristas, Ms Choi was right. I scoffed, 'Beomgyu! Can you get me the usual.'
'U-uh sure!'
I chuckled at the way he was startled when I called him and sat down waiting for my order.
I opened my phone and went to a specific person's messages, looking at the address they sent me again.
It was an old but familiar place.
'Y/N!'
I suddenly heard my name and got up to get my drink and pastry. 'Thanks,' I said to Beomgyu and waved to both him and his mum before leaving.
I walked to the address given to me, it wasn't too far just a few streets away.
I approached the familiar street, the street I used to walk on to get to school every day. The street which I was the most scared of, only because of one little ally way.
This was a memorable place for me and Jeno but not a good one, so why would he call me here?
He didn't send me an exact place to stand or go, just this street, so I decided to wait near the ally way. Not inside, just near it.
