We're in Shawn's Jeep, and I have absolutely no idea where he's taking me.

"Shawn, please tell me" I beg but he's having non of it.

"Y/N, how many times am I gonna have to say you'll have to wait until we get there." Shawn says whilst shaking his head at me again.

I let out an annoyed growl because I know I'm not going to be able to get it out of him any time soon. I hear Shawn let out a small laugh at the nice I'd made and I just stared at him, which made him stop. When I turn back around and look out the windscreen, I feel like I recognise where we are but I'm not to sure.

Shawn then makes a left turn and that when I realise that we are close to my favourite park, St. James Park. I remember telling Shawn that I loved it here one time we were texting, I'm surprised he remembered that if I'm honest.

I turn and look at Shawn with a huge smile on my face, after he pulled into a place to park, he looked at me and saw how happy I looked and said "I told you that you'd like it."

"I'm surprised you remembered I like this park. I only briefly mentioned it that one time." I tell him truthfully.

"I don't know, I guess it just stuck in my head for some reason." Shawn answered whilst shrugging his shoulders.

We get out of the car and walk into the park. As we walk in we are talking about god knows what, when I spot a yoga class about to start.

"Shawn can we pleaseeee do the yoga class?" I ask, dragging out the please and giving him some serious puppy dog eyes. Shawn tries to avoid making eye contact, but it doesn't work when I grab his face and make him look at me. "Pretty please with a cherry on top." I ask still giving him puppy dog eyes, but this time I put my bottom lip out.

He shakes his head before giving up and saying,  "Fine, we can do the yoga class, but I'm warning you I'm not flexible at all."

"It's fine, I'll watch you struggle whilst I actually do the class." I say with a laugh as I walk over to the teacher to see if it's okay that we join in with the class. She said it was fine and that we could use any of the spare mats.

I didn't mind where we stood, but Shawn wanted to stand at the back because he didn't want to make a fool out of himself in  front of all these strangers in the park. We got to the two mats in the back just as the class started. As the teacher showed us the first move we had to do, I looked over to Shawn and he just shook his head at me before attempting to do what the teacher was doing.

I couldn't help but laugh when I looked over at Shawn attempting to do what the teacher was doing, I was already in the position (with our head by our feet), and Shawn could not manage to keep his legs straight whilst his head was close to the ground. He heard me let out a small giggle as I watched him and he just shook his head at me and gave me a look as if to say "never again".

After the thirty minute yoga class, Shawn and I waked round the park and looked at many of the different flowers whilst talking.

We stop at the fountain when Shawn looks at me and says "I really enjoy spending time with you, Y/N."

I look at Shawn in shock because I didn't expect him to say that, but the truth is I really enjoy spending time with him too.

"Well Mendes, I'm happy to tell you that the feeling is mutual." I say to him with a smile on my face because it's the truth.

Shawn has a huge smile on his face before saying "You make me feel normal, I don't feel like the singer Shawn Mendes when I'm with you, I feel like normal 20 year old Shawn. So thank you for that."

I didn't realise that Shawn felt that way around me, but I'm glad I make him feel like himself not the famous singer him.

"I'm glad I make you feel normal, Shawn." I tell him truthfully. He then pulls me in for a hug which I gladly accept.

We leave the park after spending about and hour walking around just talking and getting to know each other a bit better. Shawn told me more about his job and how well he gets along with his team. I told him about school and how stressful it gets but I graduate in a couple months so it's over soon.

We get to where the car was parked, before getting in the car and heading back to Shawn's place. I needed to get my car so I could go home and get changed, before going to work for the evening.

Shawn pulls into the parking garage and pulls into his space next to where my car is parked. We both get out of the car and I pull Shawn into a hug.

Once we both pull away, Shawn says "I really had a nice time these past couple days, I can't wait for us to do this again, minus the yoga part." I look up at him and smile.

"I enjoyed too and I can't wait to do it again too, and I'm sure I'll get you to do yoga again at some point."  We both let out a laugh as I say this.

"hmm we'll see, Y/N, we'll see." Shawn says whilst shaking his head, but there was a smile evident on his face.

He pulls me in for another hug before we say our goodbyes and I get into my car. I wave at him and he waves back before turning around and walking towards the elevator as I drive out of the parking garage.

I really have enjoyed these past couple of days with Shawn. If I'm honest it feels like I'm in a different world when I'm with him. I've never felt the way I feel around him, around anyone else. But for now it's back to the reality of life.
