At the cabin

Kensi's POV

Me and Deeks had finished dinner and I was stuffed. I plopped down on the couch to rest. After Deeks finished the dishes he came over and sat next to me. I want to start over to, but I have to think about it. He really hurt me and I know I hurt him. We are best friends and the last thing I want is to jeopardize that. I don't know what to do, my heart keeps saying yes yes yes and so is my mind but the only things that come out of my mouth are no no no. My brain is going to explode. I can feel my eyes getting sleepy. I want to stay awake. I need to figure it out, but my brain says otherwise. I feel my eyes start to droop and than I'm out cold.

Deeks's POV

I look over at Kensi and see she is asleep. I put a blanket on her and sit back down. I look at her beautiful face and chocolate brown tangled messy curls. My perfect girl. I really hope she thinks our thing won't be a mistake. Well if she decides to have a thing. I hope she does. I love her. I have since I first met her. My beautiful bad ass Blye. Then I remember her favorite movie. I left it in my car for movie nights but I had put it in a case and then hidden it away in my pocket so that no matter where we were we could watch it. I dig in my pants pocket. I find it. Kensi starts to wake up. Just in time. "Deeks" she whispers. Her voice is slurred from sleep. "Um". "What time is it". I look at my watch. "7:43". "And guess what" I ask her. Kensi hates secrets and I mean hates them. It's so funny but I don't want to make her mad tonight. "What, tell me" she says this time way more alert. I laugh a little to myself. "I have one of your favorite things". "What a donut" she asks. I laugh again. "Not a donut, guess again". "I give up just tell me" she says getting irritated. It's best to avoid an irritated Kensi. "Titanic". I watch her eyes light up. "What, how" she asks. "Well since I never know who's house we're having movie night at, I put a whole bag of our favorite movies in individual indestructible cases. When Callen told me we might have to go off the radar I brought the titanic movie with me because I know it's your favorite movie". "As thanks Deeks. That means a lit" she said. My heart felt all warm. "Did you say indestructible cases" she asked. "yeah like you" I said grinning. " Yep, but can we just go to sleep tonight, I'm so tired" she says. I watch her force back a yawn. "Yeah, sure". I pick her up and carry her to the room. I lay her down and cover her up. As I'm about to leave I hear one word. A word that gives me so much hope that our thing still exists. That one word. "Stay" she says. I walk back over and get in the bed. "I'm not going anywhere" I whisper as we both fall asleep.
