Story Time

Natsu's POV

"And when all the little dragons were strong enough to live in the real world, the big, strong, most powerful dragons moved away to a big kingdom. That's where they live. Up reallllll high, and away from the big bad mages that were trying to hurt the dragons. Two dragons keep all the lower dragons safe. The two good, and most powerful rule. They're the Celestial and Fire Dragons. My mom, and Natsu's dad. They watched over the kingdom, but weren't husband and wife. That's why I didn't know I was a dragon slayer until I was much, much older than the other dragon slayers."

"But Miss Lucy, how come you didn't learn dragon magic when everyone else did?" one of the kids Lucy told stories to asked.

"Well, because my mom didn't want to marry Igneel, Nastu's dad," she pointed with her thumb towards me. I had been listening to her storytelling since she started a couple weeks ago. She told stories about the dragons, about dragon slayers, Fairy Tail, and me. She told about all her adventures with Happy, me, and of course the rest of the team.

"And since she and Igneel agreed to marry separate people, I wasn't raised into dragon slayer magic. Instead I was raised under celestial magic. My mother's human form magic."

"That's why you and Natsu are the hairs to the Dragon Kingdom right?" said one of the kids, pronouncing heir wrong.

"Yep! Natsu and I also have the same choice as our parents did, but we decided to get married," she finished smiling.

"How come?" they kept asking. Lucy, Happy, Sapphire, and I would be leaving soon, but these kids still don't understand what time is.

"Well," she started while getting up, probably realizing what time it was, "One, we thought it would be better for us to be together for the Realm, plus.. When you find the one you're meant to be with, it only makes sense right?" she stood next to me and smiled at the kids sitting on the floor.

The quietest of them all smiled, and quietly said, "Yeah.. it does," the others were surprised.

She was a bit older than everyone else, and no one has never heard her talk, except Lucy and I. She'd tell us thank you, and hug us both. She was a wizard in training, and wanted to join Fairy Tail. She hoped to do it by her 10th birthday, which by what we remember, was in two months. We each gave her a hug while the others said thank you and left, and she pulled me down softly by my scarf, and whispered something I could only hear.

"Keep her safe.." she let me go, gave both of us a smile, and skipped off to her older brother, who picks her up every day. Today was the first day we made eye contact, and he smiled at us. He was blond, and had dark eyes. His sister, Lucy's favorite, had light pink hair, and dark brown eyes.

We watched them leave, looked at each other, and left to go get the exceeds. We after all, had a big job to do, Lissana's guild.
