Lucy's POV

"You know Hearfilia, you've got guts. Asking for my real strength."

"If you're saying I'm asking this because I think so highly of myself, than you are sorely mistaken."

"Liar!" she screamed.

"We'll come on then, show me what you're made of," I said harshly. She laughed again, and slowly got up. She released a very dark aura. I expected it, and wasn't fazed. I braced for anything she could throw at me.

"Dark Aura, Mist!" a dark mist flew towards me. I hope this isn't the best she can do, I was hoping for a challenge. With ease, I dodged her blow. It was useless to use magic, no point if I could simply use my athletics.

"But that should've worked.." she muttered.

"You can't possibly believe that.. I'm part Earth Dragon remember, light on my feet!" I said with a back flip and a kick.

"Ugh.. Black Wool!" she chanted. A spell that is supposed to grab hold of the target. Too bad it has a weakness.

"Water Dragon, Roar!" I chanted back. The water hit her spell and the 'wool' soaked the water up, and popped.

"You should really take your time learning each spell," I gawked, "Enough messing around Lissana, From The Heavens and Earth, I beckon to my aid! Gather energy from thou who sees as enemy, Energy Thieves!" It was a spell I learned while on the road. It connected to Celestial Magic, which I could still operate. Lissana was lifted up into the air and she shone and dark purple light. The spell doesn't really damage the target, only weakens it. It does give the caster great amounts of energy.

"What was that! Pathetic! It seems you should spend some time on some of your own spells!"

"Tch.. It takes a bit, just relax." I began to feel my energy break through its own barrier.

"Dark Aura! Rumbling Thunder!" she spat. She put empaisis on her movements, and as my spell had finally soaked in, nothing happened.

"What the hell did you do!" she screamed, hurting my ears.

"Oh that? It takes all the energy from you, and gives it to me. Neat, isn't it?" I answered.

"You're going to pay!" she started running towards me. Right as she got closer, I punched her square in the jaw, knowing how to break it. By looks of her sprawling on the grass indicated I had succeeded. I stared at her like she was some destorted mess, but yet satisfied with the out come.

"Are you going to give up that easily? We were just getting to the fun part!" I sarcastically complained.

"Yoe sust feaking roke ry gaw!" she mumbled followed by blood dripping from the corner of her mouth.

"Pathetic. Dark or good, if I were to let you live, your guild master would get to you faster then Mavis herself. I will make it short, less painful and non-humiliating, but I guess you've already humiliated yourself enough. So what's it going to be? Me, or a painful, humiliating death by the hands of your guild master? Your choice.." she looked up at me with big sad puppy dog eyes. One of my weakness.. She turned her head to the crowd and especially to her devastated older siblings. I looked at Mira and Elfman. They looked back at me and nodded. Meaning, they were okay with letting me do it, knowing mine would be more humane.

We looked back at each other. Even though I hated this girl's guts, knowing what I was about to do, pain stung in my eyes and my heart. The part where we were once good friends, a place where we understood each other, a place, that after today, I would never get back, and would miss.

"Well come on then, do it," she teared up, and I felt a lump the size of my fist begin to crawl up my throat.

"And Lucy, make sure you never leave his side. Give him all your heart, both kind and clean, and dark and corrupted."

"Lissana, there is no purity. Not after today.."

"I know.. I'm sorry.."

"I know, do well, wherever you end up, Lissana Strauss.." with that I created an ice dagger, and casted an innocence spell to make it quick and painless, but surely end her life. A few tears fell on to my cheeks, memories of good Lissana.. the good memories of the sweet girl we all loved so much. I plunged the long dagger into her chest. A light golden glow fell upon us both. I sat waiting till the light diminished and there laid, a cold, dead, Lissana Strauss. For the first time, probably in awhile, she was smiling.

I heard running in the distance, I knew who it was. I got up and turned just in time to meet a pair of warm, muscular arms wrap around me. I instantly hugged him back, nustling my head in the crick of his neck, and my hands placed gently on his pink hair.

"I'm sorry. I had to-" I cried.

"No, I know you had to. For the better of the guild, and to keep us safe.." Natsu whispered back.

"You know, you put on quite a show! And only ruined some of the trees and surroundings around you!" he joked and looked at me, tears in his eyes.

"I can do worse.." I joked back, wiping my face.

"How much energy did you use?" he asked.

"Minus the energy I took from Lissana, I would say about 15%."

"You seriously are the strongest Dragon Slayer out there.." he smiled down at me, and walked me away from Lissana.

"Oh and, were you serious about us ruling the Dragon Realm together and the Celestial Kingdom?" he asked again.

"Yeah, that was the other part I forgot to tell you when I got back," I replied.

He smiled and pulled me towards the guild, needing to settle what to do with Lissana, and if her new guild and magic was a threat to the guild, especially Natsu and I. Let alone a distraught Elfman and Mira.

Today, my magic, and relationship with Natu yet again grew. Not yet reaching their full potential.
