Alexander Hamilton had a passion for speaking.
Speaking was what had allowed him to say his mind, to make a stand, to branch out, to keep adding more to his evergrowing legacy.
It lit him with a spark, the same spark that writing lit in him.
But it was different.
Many people would not bother to read hundreds of pages, yet countless would rise up at his words in eagerness and anticipation.
Even though his speaking was just his writing, alive.
It was easier, you could say.
Speaking and writing were the simple joys that had brought Alexander Hamilton out of his roughest moments. Lifted him from the grave that loomed at the edge of his vision every time he closed his eyes. Gave him purpose.
Yes, Alexander Hamilton had a passion for speaking.
There was never a moment you could find him without words, not a moment speechless.
Until the hurricane came.
