Calum and I watched Scary movies and ordered more pizza. Geesh were gonna get fat. When The Conjuring finishes I look over at Calum, who is focused on his phone.

“Hey Calum. Do you mind staying the night? Those movies freaked me out.” I confessed. He looked up at me and pouted. Why was he pouting?

“Umm… Kenzie I don’t think that’s a good idea, I don’t want Luke to get mad at me.” He said apologetically.

“Oh…Okay.” I went up to my room and changed into my PJ’S, when I walked back down stairs Calum was gone; he left a note on the coffee table though.

‘Hey Kenz,

I’m really sorry but you were taking ages and I had to go, Ashton might be coming over tomorrow though, to check up on you.

Calum.’

I started to cry again. I pulled out my phone to call Luke. But then remembered Molly was probably at his house. So decided against it. I thought about calling Calum, but there was nothing he could do about it. So I just sat on my bed and cried. I felt worthless and wished I could just disappear. It’s not like any one would notice. I remembered the picture of Luke and I hugging, and went to my bathroom and pulled out the shard of glass. I sat on my bed and cried. Trying to stop myself. But I couldn’t. I put the glass up against my skin and pressed it down until a bead of blood popped up, I pulled away the piece of glass and then put it back down, tearing through my skin, again and again, and I felt so much better. This was better.

I cried until I couldn’t cry anymore. There was no one to help me, and even if there was, they probably wouldn’t want to help me anyways.

I went to my desk and searched through my draws until I found what I was looking for, it was a photo of Luke, Molly and myself when Luke had first come to my school.  I didn’t know why I didn’t throw out the picture. I couldn’t bring myself to do it. It was the only thing left that I had of Molly; I don’t even know why I cared about her at the moment. But then I did. Molly was with Luke. Molly was with the one Person I loved the most. Molly was with my best friend. Molly was where I should be.

I got in to bed and read. Thinking about Luke and Molly.

LUKE’S P.O.V

I sat down beside Molly, wishing that it was Kenzie who was next to me. I don’t even know why I invited Molly over, let alone why I stayed at the beach with her instead of going home with Calum and Kenz. I didn’t have fun with her. We watched White House Down and then Molly’s mum came to pick her up. I wanted to call Kenz and ask her how she was, but I looked at the time and thought better of it.

I woke up to Calum and Ashton staring at me. Great. What did I do now. I sat up and they just kept looking at me.

“What did I do?” I question.

“Well I was just wondering when I could meet Calum.” Calum asked.

“Ummm…. That would be quite hard.” I say

“Why couldn’t Mackenzie stay over last night?” Ashton asked me.

“Umm… I had a friend over.” I stutter

“Where’d they go?” Ash replied

“They left earlier.” I state. More confident now.

“Why would they leave before 6 on a weekend?” Calum asks. Shit they caught me.

“Fine. Molly came over and watched some movies when we came back from the beach.”  I give in because I know they won’t give up until they figure it out.

“And that’s why Mackenzie couldn’t stay over? Because of Molly. Really? Dude seriously you need to sort out your priorities. I thought you liked Mackenzie?” Calum says.

“Well you thought wrong.” I spit back storming out of my room. They didn’t think wrong. But I can’t tell them that. I’m doing this for everyone’s benefit. They should thank me. Not scold me. I get changed and walk over to Mackenzie’s. I guess Calum and Ashton left. I walk in silence and knock on the door.
