Aziraphale's POV
I felt the familiar full body slam into a wall, as I dragged all of us into a somewhat dream state, that being the best way to explain it. Looking slowly to my side I saw Dean stand up shaking his head and Crowley doing the same, still holding my hand. I looked over and shook his shoulder slightly, he stood and grabbed my other hand pulling me to my feet, the others following.
"Alright, we got them this far. What do we start with?" Cas asked from my side.
"Hang on, I still don't know what's happing," Dean said trying to step forward, Cas's hand snapped out and caught dean moments before he would have fallen. In the dim light, it would have been impossible to tell where the ground ended and where it started. Having done this many times myself would often forget to tell the others I took with me, seeing as that was a rare occurrence.
"Pay close attention I don't know how long I can hold you all here." Dean nodded silently and Sam snapped to attention. "It's something of a database, this is how we stay connected, the angels that is."
"What about the angel radio?" Dean said and Cas looked over at me with a shrug.
"This is an extension to that you could say. Anyway, anything we ever need to know goes here." I heard Crowley mumble something about ineffability and I sighed. "I don't know what they know, I think you should make the decision, make it quick."
"Start with the beginning," He said glancing at Sam and Dean.
"How far into it?"
"Go through all of it." He meant all of it, from the start of time to the near end.
"I don't know if they can handle that." I had only taken two others with me, Crowley because I knew he could handle it, and my apprentice from several hundred years ago, who just so happened to be Socrates, a bright mind he had been he left quite a legacy behind him. I was very proud. I looked back between the men.
"They can." I nodded slowly and let my wings unfurl, taking a deep breath I stepped into the darkness, almost hovering for a moment before plunging into the darkness below. With a smile, I opened my wings wider and they caught the air like parachutes, I fell slower until I gave a strong beat and was soaring up. It was all so familiar and felt right. Air rushed between my feathers Looking up I was able to see the light that had begun forming. I turned and hovered just above the others.
"Hold on tight." Sudden light beamed through the large room and memories floated in. In a way, they were nothing like memories, they were colours that made pictures, from the pictures came sound, sound brought feeling, somehow it made sense. You didn't need to have your eyes open, it was like drowning without pain, life without death, peaceful until the end, when things went dark and evil lurked in corners it was a place that Crowley brought forth, a place in which everything balanced in an almost unsettling way. The strangest part was that, in a way, it was the feeling of being unsettled made it peaceful. It was a place where you had to be aware but could float away and feel nothing all at the same time. Flashes of light and music would cross our ears and stay momentarily before gliding away to be replaced. I froze as the memories of the Church and the Nazis brought a smile to my face and my heart fluttered. A light pink colour flooded the others as the thought moved on, I reached out to it, as I always would my fingertips brushed over the warmth before disappearing into someone else's mind, I almost hoped that one would be mine and mine alone, but it was for the best. Then creps in France, it faded to the garden before melding into the great flood. Every memory I had ever had of Crowley. All of this was mine, my memories, my life. The lights came to a close as my memories ended. I landed next to the small group my wings folding neatly behind me.
"I can't hold you all here for much lon-" I cut myself off. "There's someone in the bookshop, it's not human." I didn't move, holding everyone there. Cas yelled. "No!" We snapped back and I gasped as it tore into my human body, I held tight as the light pulled ruffly at me. My chair fell back and I hit the floor. There were two angels flanking Cas and they grabbed his arms quickly as he came around. I shot up wincing as my body protested, sending people into your own mind was draining. Stumbling around the table Dean and I both reached him, it was too late he was gone. I grabbed the table for support and covered my mouth. They couldn't take him. He hadn't done anything. They had no proof he had gotten me out, what else could it be? Dean yelled and I flinched as my cup shattered on the floor when Dean hit the table. Crowley put his hand on my shoulder lightly. I sunk into it slightly as my body began to fail me.
"How could you let them take him?!" Dean yelled staring daggers at me. I flinched again opening my mouth to respond. "You could have gotten us out of there sooner and now look, you waited and he's gone. Are they going to kill him?" He walked around the table and stabbed a finger into my chest. I flinched again this time pressed against Crowley, he inhaled sharply and his hand tightened. "You go and get him back, you're the only one that can follow him, feathers. You go get him back." He choked on his words slightly. I put my better hand out to him and he hit it away quickly. "If he dies because of you I will kill you, and the snake next to you." He said raising his volume. Crowley pushed me behind him and I tried to slow my breathing.
"Now you listen to me mortal, I will stand by and watch certain things, but this is a new step. You will not lay a finger on the angel, and two if you don't stop yelling at him I will cut out your tongue." Crowley boomed and I flinched again. Sam who hadn't said anything was beside Dean in seconds. He nodded at me gently, and I did my best to smile back. My whole body, I had been yelled at, and lost what was basically my son to the creatures the hated me most, never mind the fact I had been kidnapped that morning.
"Dean, it's time to go." Sam yanked at Dean's sleeve and Crowley stared them down as they walked out of the shop. I began to crumble, I sank until my knees hit my chest and my back was on the table leg. I let out a small sob as my exhausted body shut down. I had barely put my head down before Crowley was next to me.
"It's okay." He mumbled into my hair. It was too much, 6000 years too much. I pulled my head up and planted a kiss on his lips. He responded, slightly shocked. After a few moments, I broke the kiss, leaning into him.
"You have no idea how long I wanted to do that." I laughed into his shirt.
"Well Angel, I suppose dreams really do come true. Everything will be fine." I nodded. "Let's get you to bed. We will work everything else out in the morning." I nodded again only just realising how much time had passed. We walked to the bedroom and I kicked off my shoes, draping my coat and vest over a chair. I crawled under the rarely used duvet and into the old bed. Crowley turned to leave and I sat up.
"Stay, please?" He turned with a smile and pulled his shoes off as well before curling around me. I sighed happily enjoying the warmth coming off of him. I let my mind slip away and I fell into sleep.
