AN~ IM BAAACCKKK!!! I've had back to back competitions this week so I was a little tired and dead.

"Hanji have you heard from Eren? My calls aren't even going through to him."

God I'm so pissed. This morning I went to text Eren and it told me I couldn't send him messages.
I hope he's fucking okay.

"Levi, that means he blocked your number. What did you do to piss him off?"

Hanji glared at me. I know she's mad, she has every right to be because Eren is like her child.

But I don't know what I did? Is this something to do with last night? No, it couldn't be! He was gone!

"Levi!"

"Sorry. I'm just worried as fuck Hanji. Can you call him for me?"

"Yeah. But you better not say a word. Because you probably made him mad and the only way you're going to get an answer is if you stay quiet."

I reluctantly sat down watching Hanji type the shifter's number in. My anxiety rising higher and higher as she hit the call button.

"Hanji?"

God I needed to here his voice. His beautiful voice.

"Hey Eren! How are you and Levi doing?"

Silence was heard on the other end. He must be pissed. But why?

"Hanji. I-I don't think Levi loves me like I think he does."

Hanji and I both looked at each other. My face in shock and confusion. Her face filled with confusing and anger.

"And why is that hun?"

"Hanji promise you'll never tell."

"I swear on my life Eren. You can always trust mama Hanji."

"I think Levi is trying to kill me."

"WHAT?!"

Hanji screeched through the phone. Now glaring at me. Mouthing 'what did you do!?'

"Hanji please help me! Him and his friends were plotting to kill me and they came in my house last night! Thankfully I hid in the closet with my cat. But please, I dont feel safe here. At all."

"Eren. I'm saying this as both your friend and Levi's. You can count on me that you being killed will never happen. And I'll make sure you get the Levi that you first knew back. Okay?"

"O-okay. I'm sorry for bothering you with this information. It's just I-Im scared."

"There's nothing to be afraid because I'll put an end to this as soon as I can. Just promise me one thing."

"Yeah?"

"You let Levi explain himself tomorrow over lunch.  This seems all weird and blurry for you. But there is a big explanation behind this. But I can assure you it will NEVER happen. Okay hun?"

"O-okay Hanji. I'm trusting you."

"I know, now go get some rest honey bunches. I'll see you tomorrow at work."

"Bye Hanji."

She hung up and I waited for a hand to hit my face.
Which it did. Twice as hard as I thought.

I definitely deserved that.

"What the hell Levi! I thought we all agreed to leave that group long ago!"

"I know Hanji! And I'm sorry! I just felt myself rejoining after a while because I didnt care! But now that I have Eren I've been trying!"

"THEN WHY WERE YOU IN HIS HOUSE. DISCUSSING KILLING HIM! HE ISN'T SAFE THERE ANYMORE NOW THAT THEY KNOW WHERE HE LIVES!"

"Fuck. Fuck! I did this! I fucked up so bad. I need to fix this I'm sorry Hanji. I swear I will fix this. I'll end my visits with the pac and I'll make sure he is safe. But Hanji please try to convince him to unblock my number. I miss him so much."

"You can wait till tomorrow. You deserve to sit and think about what you did. Now go home and get some rest, tomorrow is going to be a long day. And quit the pac tonight."

"I will. I promise this time. Thank you Hanji."

"Yup. Just don't let Eren get hurt. He's like a son to me."

"I promise Hanji. I'll protect him."

"Armin, I'm freaking out what the fuck should I do?!"

"Eren cool it on the cussing. And I think after that call with Hanji you shouldnt worry. And I live a block away so if anything happens, call me and I'll be there to get you and cheese."

"I guess. Thank you Armin. Do you think I should stay disguised in public?"

"Probably a good idea. At least until Levi explains himself tomorrow. Now I've gotta go, my kid is crying."

"Okay Armin. Bye!"

"Bye Eren!"

Today was a very weary day in my house. I havent opened any of my curtains, I put a couple chain locks on my door just to make sure they can't get in with a key at night. I even went as far as lighting my fire place and keeping it lit so they couldn't sneak down the chimney.

I will not die from a stupid man and his friends.
I'm so scared though.

"Cheese come here! We're going to sleep downstairs tonight so I can keep an eye on the fire."

Cheese meowed and jumped onto my lap, curling into a ball.

"I guess for now we can just watch TV until we get exhausted. Goodnight Cheese."

No one's pov:

As Eren and Cheese slept soundly by the fire. Levi crept onto Eren's roof and kept his eyes peeled for those pesky members of his old pac.

He had quit that night, dealing with a fight or two due to them being angered.
Telling them he had someone he cared deeply about and wanted to live his life with them. Meaning the dangerous pac running had to go.

After sometime Levi decided to check on Eren.
He quietly lifted the broken window to Eren's room and entered. Eren must've never noticed the window being broken.

He went downstairs following the boy's beautiful scent and nearly teared up at the site before him.
Eren curled up with blankets, his face relaxed and at peace. His cat lay on his lap purring softly as it slept.

"Eren, I promise I'll always protect you. Whether you forgive me or not tomorrow. I really do love you."

And with that he left continuing his watch on Eren's roof.
