Eunji sat on the beach, her eyes moving from sand to stone, from rock pools to breaking waves. In the gentle spring sunshine she felt as if she was swimming in the salty scent, as if the new rays of the day brought a frisson of energy to her finger tips. The seagulls brought their high notes to the percussions of hoggins at the shoreline. It was beautiful scenery that she once thought only happen in a dream.

“Cheers!” she lifted her bottle of beer, adjusted her gaze from the beautiful scenery, to the beautiful man next to her.

Jungkook didn’t do the same. No smile on his face. He pouted at her.

“What?” Eunji smiled at him. “I should be the one making that face. I pitied myself because I didn’t come here with someone special just like what I’ve imagine.”

“Today I have a family gathering, and yet I’m here to give you accompany,” with his hand, Jungkook covered his face. “Just my luck.”

Eunji chuckled. “Of course you should always stick together with me.” she leaned closer, shifting Jungkook’s hand from covering his face. “But, I’m sorry for making you skip it because of me,” she said with puppy eyes.

“It’s okay. Whenever, wherever, Jeon Jungkook is Jung Eunji’s exclusive person,” a smirk curved on his lips, while Eunji let out a light chuckle.

A pregnant silence suddenly created while both of them decided to enjoy the bright orange sun just about to hit the water on the horizon. It was the beautiful scenery that they only can see when they stayed at Yoongi’s private villa. And while waiting for the owner of the villa and also other members arrived, Jungkook and Eunji were sitting at the coast in front of the property together. Jungkook once again closed his eyes and started to hear the soothing sound of the waves brushing against the rocks. He felt the rays of the sun starting to warm up his face and arms. There was a slight breeze that kept brushing strands of his hair right onto his eyes, but he did not mind at all because that breeze felt so cooling on his skin.

A sudden weight on his right shoulder awakened him up. He could smell the familiar shampoo scent before he opened his eyes to found it was Eunji’s head which already leaned comfortably on it.

“Am I really that picky that I don’t have someone special in my life?” her voice was shaking when she asked him. “I really wish I could find one so my friends will stop bothering me.”

“Ji,” Jungkook tried to console her. “Ignore them and just be who you are.”

“It’s annoying!” she suddenly shouted, almost slamming the bottle on the white pearl sand. “Fuck.”

“Eunji!” Jungkook glared at the girl, raising his voice.

“I’m sorry,” and Eunji was quick to apologize, she looked down on the white sand. But it won’t last long because with the delicate fingers, Jungkook gripped her jaw, making her lifted her chin to meet his gaze.

At those close gaps, Jungkook could smell the scent of strong liquor from her lips. He was staring at those black crystal eyes, with bare fear he bravely locking his gaze with her.

“Kookie—“ Eunji wanted to speak, but suddenly she saw him leaned closer to her. She closed his eyes when she felt the warm touch on her eyelid. Jungkook kissed it gently, almost feathery on Eunji’s close lid. It was so fast yet feels so soft. It was enough to make her fluttered.
