The next morning comes and after spending the most intense night, Jungkook turned around to be greets with nothing but a slept pillow and side of the bed. Jungkook batted his eyelashes as he remembering last night. Without her knowing, he cleaned his liquid from her tummy and help her to put on her silk pajamas. So she would not sleeping naked.

"She must be in the kitchen right now," he smiled before decided to walk out from the room to grab some water. And that was when, he found a pink note sticked on the cupboard near the kitchen.

Dear Kookie my bestie,

I'll leave to Japan for a week. I have a sudden meeting with Mr. Tanaka for their brand new perfume launching. I'm sorry for not letting you know on the first place. I'd prepare some frozen foods inside the freezer for you. See you next Sunday.

Once he finished read the note, he felt disappointed. She didn't mention anything about last night.

He squeezed the paper before throwing it in the trash can. "I know it will turn out like this. But why this heart is still aching?" he muttered lowly as he hit his chest repeatedly.

Jungkook then decided to grab some water. He walked helplessly as he could feel his heart was broken for sure. He thought she will fall for him or realize about their feelings after what they've done last night. But, he had to swallow his pride by facing the truth, Eunji wasn't seemed remember it, at all.

Today, they finally ended their holidays in Yoongi's villa. Eunji and Jungkook went back to Seoul together. Silence was created inside the car. It had been 2 hours since they left, yet she found Jungkook was only staring at the window of her car. Being talkative person he was, Eunji believed it was been long enough he being mute. Eunji could sense Jungkook was in the bad mood. But she didn't dare to bother him.

"This pasta is so good. I never taste this kind of it before. I'm going to buy it again!" Eunji keep talking. Nonstop. She talk and talk with mouth full of creamy sauce.

Jungkook would normally eat his favorite food heartily, just like she did. But strangely, he kept a flat and sad face while he stared at the Italian food in front of him. It's already one week since they came back from Yoongi's villa. Yet Jungkook still put his bad mood face during the time.

Eunji didn't force him to touch the food. Jungkook didn't need to say anything. In fact, he has not said a thing at all. He got up from the cold white chair, still with mouth closed; he went straight to his sharing room.

It was Taehyung who told Eunji that he accidentally overheard Jungkook's phone conversation yesterday when the nosy guy make a visit to her home. One of big agencies declined his mixtape. Jeon Jungkook had a dream to become a succesfull producer, so he already wrote and recorded some music demos then he sent it to music agencies all around South Korea. And now, he got a rejection for his hard work. He must be very sad, Eunji thought.

She decided to went to their room. And now, Eunji found Jungkook sitting on the edge of their sharing bed.

Eunji sat next to him, and spoke no words. For about an hour, they stayed like that. Staring blankly at the things in front of them, being quiet and feeling each other.

Eunji's eyes were fixed on the big window; Jungkook stared on their messy dirty clothes.

Their eyes finally met each other. It remains for a few seconds before Eunji hugged him. Tightly. "Everything will be alright... You will get another chance, don't give up too fast," she tried to console her best friend. Caress his back up and down.

Jungkook's eyes were widened since Eunji knew one of the reasons for his changing moods these days. Yes, truthfully, his music demo rejection was not the only reason. He was really in the bad mood after saw the kissing scene between Eunji and Taekwoon that day, and he still didn't managed to ask her. He was too afraid to hear the answer, yet he never heard she mentioned his name lately.

Eunji lessened the hug to meet Jungkook's face while both of her hands still hold his arms. She shot him with her deep gaze, yet it was enough to make his cheeks reddened. He immediately looks down to hide it, but the next thing had surprisingly happened. A soft and warm touch greets his forehead. She kissed him. It wasn't on the lips, but it was enough to make his heart race.

"Jungkook-ah..." Eunji whispered, still staring at his face. "... I miss you."

Jungkook heard her clearly but he pretended he didn't. He got up from the soft mattress still with head hung low and passed the girl toward the restroom. He ignored her confession as he acted like he is in the urge to go to the toilet.

And when Jungkook wanted to grab the door' knob, a loud bang came from their room revealing Son Naeun with full of sweat on her pretty face.

"G-guys..." she spoke between her shaky breaths. She had just run from her car to go up to her friend room.

"Naeun-ah, what happened?" Eunji immediately went to her breathless friend. Naeun actually has a habit to straightly went inside her room. But this time is different. She wasn't came with her signature bright smile, yet she came with fear expressed clearly on her face.

"T-Taekwoon's mother... S-she..." Naeun stop to catch her breath.

"Hey, speak clearly, please. What happened with his mother?" Eunji was placing her hand on the skinny girl' arms. She shook it since she ran out of patience. Meanwhile, Jungkook still didn't move from his current place. With his hand still placed on the restroom door knob, he eaves dropping their conversation.

"I've just heard Taekwoon's conversation with his mother... She wanted to arrange a marriage between him and-" still with Eunji's hand wrapped strongly on her arms, Naeun spoke out. "... you."

Eunji's eyes widened in shock, so did Jungkook who kept hear the conversation from the start. He couldn't move his feet while his hands were trembling. A pang hit his heart when the sudden news came up greets him and completely ruin his days.
