What Happened to Us?

"Taekwoon," Eunji smelled the bouquet of roses in her hands. "Is this for me?" she asked clueless.

Taekwoon nodded his head. He surprised her at her office and just gave her a bouquet of pink roses. She was just came back after held big meeting with Japanese perfume factory.

"A beautiful roses for a beautiful woman," he smiled endearingly.

"Aww, it's sweet," Eunji smiled. "Thank you."

They are still standing in front of the lobby, ignoring the crowd situation inside the modern building that paint in mostly soft pink color.

"Meet me at the canteen," Eunji is pointing a place that located of the corner of the ground floor. "I'll give the meeting resume to my operational manager first."

As when she wanted to turn around, Taekwoon held her hand, making her stop and surprised at the same time. "What time do you finish? I'll wait for you."

Another sweet thing came out from Jung Taekwoon in just one day.

"Um, I guess I'm going to finish late since you know, today I just signed a cooperation agreement with Mr. Tanaka. I'll be a little bit busy to prepare everything," Eunji's smile was changing with a frown, but she was still beautiful in Taekwoon's eyes. "Just don't wait for me. You must be busy with your works too."

"No, it's okay," Taekwoon shook his head; the smile wasn't vanished from his handsome face. "I'll wait for you."

"Really? You're so kind, Taekwoon. Thank you very much," she walked closer to him, before curling a wider smile on her face.

And it successfully made Jung Taekwoon stunned. He wasn't dreaming. Eunji for the first time didn't pushing his away and she acted sweet to him. "I never thought I could be this happy when you treating me like this. All this time I thought you dislike me," Taekwoon said.

Eunji realized that the male was suffering too.

"Thank you, Eunji," Taekwoon raised his hand to reach her arm. "I hope you will always be this sweet for me. Only for me..."

"I'm sorry for being a cold person all this time. I'm really sorry, Taekwoon." Then Eunji put her palm under his hand that holds her right hand. She caressed it softly and said, "It was my stupidity. And I will be like this for you from now. Only for you..."

Jung Eunji apologized and promised the man that will soon to be her husband. She told herself that she should kept the promise, for the better life without Jeon Jungkook anymore.

While Eunji decided to learn to love her soon-to-be husband, Jungkook and Naeun's friendship keep getting closer.

He found the girl was nice and fun. As the days pass by, he is not missing his best friend.

It was hard at first, but Naeun always came to him and give him company. So, there is no chance for him to feel gloomy whenever he remembers how Eunji avoided him.

He doesn't mind that Eunji calls him "Jeon Jungkook" not "Kookie" anymore. In the rare time whenever they've met at her house, and if the latter needs something, Eunji calls his name with his full name. He hears it, but Jungkook's heart doesn't ache anymore.

He tried not to let it hurt anymore. Although Eunji acted so formal to him, still, Jungkook couldn't do the same. She is still owning half of his heart. She will have a special place in his heart forever, no matter what.

Son Naeun at first felt guilty about Jungkook and Eunji's breach, and she thought she had caused it. Jungkook assured that it wasn't her fault and it was between him and Eunji. The girl then persuaded Jungkook to talk to his best friend and fix things with her.
