What Should I Do?

"Are you really sure to accept the arrange marriage?" Jungkook nervously asked.

After the day he heard about the plan, Eunji went to her family house. She stay there for 2 days. And at Jungkook's first night alone in their sharing room, he decided to call her. He didn't have the courage to ask her face to face. So, talking on the phone is the one way out.

"I don't know... But, I don't think to refuse it either," Eunji replied.

No laugh.

No hesitation from her voice.

Eunji is serious.

No words escaped from Jungkook's mouth. There is no sound surround him except his own heartbeat. He stayed like that for nth second, he tried to calm himself.

"Jungkook?" Eunji checked on him.

"Yes, I'm still here," he replied weakly. "I don't know why but I think he is not good enough for you. But you said you can't refuse it."

"What should I do?" Eunji asked, putting the ball into Jungkook's hands. "My family already agreed. They never asked anything from me, while they gave me everything that I need. I'll be a disgrace daughter if I reject their one and only favor."

'Shit,' Jungkook secretly cursed under his breath. He closed his eyes, taking a very deep breath. "If you said so, then go ahed."

A pang hit his heart when he finally said those words.

"What matters are your feelings, not mine," Jungkook continued. "Your happiness is important to me."

Jungkook was actually using reverse psychology.

"Thank you!" Eunji excitedly replied. "I was doubtful before. But when you say that you will support me, I become doubtless. You are the best man ever, Jeon Jungkook! I love you."

Jungkook's jaw dropped. He thought Eunji would suppose to say, 'since you don't like him, I won't go out with him...' like she always does. But now, she said 'Thank you'?

He wanted to faint. He really wanted to faint. He just regret his previous statement.

Before he can speak again, Eunji spoke out first, "I love you so much, my dear friend. I really do."

With that, Jungkook dropped his brand new XS Max phone.

Jungkook took another long shower that night. He was in a deep thought because it is the day for Eunji came back to her private house. He was thinking so hard how to face her after their last conversation on the phone. He was sure it will turn so awkward and he doesn't like it.

Jungkook was lost before a knock at the bathroom door startling him.

"Jungkook," it was Eunji's soft voice. "Are you done?"

"Yes," he answered. He tried his best to sounded as if he is not bothered by something. "Almost done!"

When he came out, Eunji asked him if he wanted to have dinner outside because her friend, Naeun wanted to vent out. Jungkook agreed.

As they arrived at their favorite BBQ restaurant that located about fifteen minutes away from Eunji's house. They found Naeun was already there and she isn't alone. There is a good looking slender man sitting next to her.

Both of Jungkook and Eunji literally stopped in their tracks when they saw Naeun brought Jung Taekwoon with her. She didn't tell Eunji earlier. Eunji wasn't ready to meet him after the arrange marriage plan. She did stop and wanted to turn back but Naeun managed to see her and directly called her.
