Random Chapters 5: Cells at Work

When measles strikes

Lengthy

You are a male platelet. Good friends with RBC (AE3803) and WBC (U-1146).

Request from a friend. I have not seen Cells at Work before. Like the first episode and I was like "alright alright, that's neat."

(Not saying anime "Cells at Work" is medically inaccurate)

Y/N's POV

"Another clot formed!" Leader-Chan raised a hand in the air. We all followed with cheer.

"So cute!" AE3803 behind me ruffles my hair.

I turn around,"Hi big sister!" I hug her, which as just me clinging on her legs.

I let go and see U-1146 behind her. I hug him as well.

"Has big brother been doing alright?" I look up at his face.

He just smiled and lowered his hat to cover his eyes.

"Don't be like that!" AE3803 teased U-1146 by nudging his shoulder.

Then, an announcement was heard throughout the body.

"Breach in lung cavity. Viral infection."

"Time I go do my job," neutrophil readies his knife.

"I'll come too!" RBC sister exclaims.

"Even if I told you not to follow, you would," U-1146 sighs.

"I shall assist!" I yell out.

"No!" Sister and brother both yelled at the same time.

I heard them whisper "no hard come to such cuteness."

"Aren't neutrophils not that effective against viruses?"

"Off I [we] go!" Brother punches a hole in the ground and jumps through it. Sister follows him.

"Oh yeah, we're in the ribs...." I jump down too,  placing a clot as I hanged from the ledge, and let go.

Despite my loud impact, brother and sister didn't recognize I was right there.

"Damn it red blood cell...but you would have cane anyway, huh?" Brother weakly smiles.

"Yep!" Sister clenches a fist in preparation.

We were on the outer membrane of I believe the left lung, meaning the heart should be below that.

Brother cuts a hole and notions to follow.

After brother and sister entered, I quickly but softly followed and placed another fiber of clot material so no intruders entered.

Damn I'm running out of fiber.

We were now in some sort of blood capillary.

Bad idea, because it was super crowded in here, like not enough room for two people to even stand next to each other.

I hopped on sister's back.
"Hey sis!"

"Platelet! What are you doing here!" She scolded.

I giggled.

"You both shouldn't be here," big bro rushed to get to the main station.

"I'm a red blood cell. I should be here!" Sister follows while still carrying me.

"Weee! This is fun!" I wrap my arms against sister's neck and held tightly.

"Cute," Sister blushes while still following bro.
