Ness x Paula's Sister! Reader

Y/N's POV

"This sucks," I pout as I'm sitting while leaning on Paula's back. She was leaning on mine.

We were captured by Pokey and the Happy Happy blue bad dudes.

I examined the Franklin Badge. It was no bigger than an apple and no wider than a slice of bread. It felt smooth with a glossy look. The back was pure gold while the front had an electric thunder bolt painted red. On the rim of the badge was the words "Franklin Badge." In the center was the word "Mother" with the "o" as the shape of the world.
Behind it was the background of the world too, but was viewed while looking down.

Paula then stood up and when on the bed, and got on her knees.
She started praying.

Ive always known. She had psychic powers. Something called PSI. I never had this power other than make my fingers flash. But people never liked me for it. Always made people cry uncontrollably....

Paula was always there for me. She cared and helped me through my depression state. She tried teaching me all of this PSI stuff.

I'm grateful to have her as my sis. She taunt me stuff like fire. But every time I did the "fire" hand techniques, my hands burst green. Paula insisted to be a test target, but assured me with a "shield." Turns out that green was healing power! Sweet! I could do something she couldn't!

Until she "magnetized" all my PP.

"No one is saving us Paula..."

Paula ignores me and continues praying.

As of right on cue, the door handle turns and opens.

I stand up and Paula does the same. Paula stand in front of me. I grip on Paula's shoulders. I was always the timid one. The weak one but most resourceful.

I was expecting one of the happy happy club blue painters, but it was this boy with a red cap. Black hair emerged from his hat, and he had a blue, yellow striped shirt with red shoes. He wore a brown backpack and had the end of a baseball bat sticking out the zipper behind his head.

"Ness!" Paula shouts with excitement and grips the bars of the cell.

"Wow...he's real..." I say blushing. Paula prayed and it payed off.....Really payed off.

Ness just silently walks up to the bars and stares at the lock. His facial expression changes, but his lips are sealed.

"Mr. Carpainter, the leader, as the key....on his necklace."

I see Ness's hand and his entire body shake. Poor thing. Must have encountered him before.

I step up to the bars. Ness hesitantly walks to me. He must be traumatized by the Carpainter.

I take his hands and place the Franklin Badge in his palms.

"Take it," I say. "It shall protect you."

I then pull on Ness's hands and his body jerks towards the bars.

I give a small but tender kiss to his forehead.

I let him go and I smile.

The blush on his face disappears before he smiles with confidence and leaves the house with the badge on his chest.

Paula scoots over to me. "You like him~~~?"

"Shut up Paula!" I playfully punch her shoulder.

Paula puts her arm around my neck. "My Sister is in love with the man that I myself knew that he could come and rescue us. You have taken my man away from me."

"You like him too?!" I shout with a giant blush on my face

"Oh nooooooo," Paula internally smiles. She starts talking in a dramatic tone. "Is Y/N jealous of me? How could this happen?"

Paula then leans on me with her eyes closed and the back of her hand on her forehead. "I'm light headed Y/N. I can't endure this. If you love him, take him."

"That's great Paula......" I say annoyed. Paula always knew how to make me angry, but deep down, I know she cares.

Paula messes my hair and kisses the top of my head. "Whatever happens, you'll still be my little sister."

I smile and hug Paula. She hugs back.

"Thanks sis."

"Don't mention it Y/N. Family sticks together."

Time Skip

Ness unlocks the lock from our cell.

I immediately rush out and hug Ness. "My savior!"

Ness blushes and just awkwardly placed a hand on the top of my head.

Paula just shakes her head while smirking and just grabs her teddie bear.

I let go of Ness and he pulls out some blue stone.

Paula shouts out, "Mondo Mole! Here we come!"

"Uhhhhh...." I mumble confused.

Ness shrugs and leaves the house. Naturally, Paula and I follow.
Paula follows behind me to...tease me on being close to Ness.

Why don't I know this part of Paula's dark side?

Very Much Later at Saturn Village

Ness and I were casually sitting next to each other with our feet in the pink pool of Saturn Village.

"Hold his hand!"

I hear a faint whisper that Ness didn't hear.
I turn around.

"Take his hand!" Paula whisper screams.

I angle my head, confused.

Paula then holds Jeff's hand. "Like this!"
I faintly see Jeff's face red.

Looking back at Ness, I reach for his hand...

But his hand grabs mine first...
He must of heard....

I stare into Ness's eyes.

He stares into my soul...

He smiles and finally opens his mouth.

"I like you Y/N."

His mouth then shuts.

I lay my head on Ness's collar and snuggle against him.

Ness smiles and softly messes with my hair.

Ness's POV

"Good job Ness!"

I look back at Paula and Jeff, still holding hands as I have one of my hands on Y/N's head.

"How do I kiss her~?" I ask Jeff and Paula.

Realizing that Jeff and Paula were still holding hands, both blush and let go of each other.

I snicker and relax as I got Y/N in my arms.
