Missy's Viewpoint:
Sitting on the couch with Jamie was something that I have realized that I have missed with being apart from him, and I couldn't imagine why I would ever do something like I did again. But my greatest fear was losing everyone that I loved forever with Lodge now on the loose again. Connor and Maggie were speaking quietly in the kitchen when we all heard a loud banging on my front door. I turned my head towards the door while Maggie stood in front of me while facing the door. I knew that Connor had a gun on him and wasn't afraid of using it if needed, but I knew that there were very limited options as to who it could be at the door.
"Missy, hide. Make sure Jamie doesn't see anything," Connor said as he pulled his gun out from inside his bag.
I nodded before standing up with Jamie and I soon took him into a room across the room that was right next to the kitchen. There was a closet in there that had a secret door that led to a bunker and I could sense that Maggie was right behind me as she was delayed by a few seconds. Connor probably told her to follow to make sure that should anything happen that there would be a chance that Jamie would be able to make it out alive. I had Jamie go in first before Maggie went in. I went in behind them and despite the pain that I was feeling, I shut the bunker door behind me. As we got settled in, I saw Maggie pull out her phone and set it down on a nearby table.
We sat quietly in the bunker until we heard the phone call come through. Maggie looked at her phone before showing the caller id to me before she picked it up. It was Connor.
"You guys are good to come out. An Agent David from Mossad who works with NCIS is here for us," Connor said.
"Coming out now," I said as I began to climb towards the door of the bunker.
I then looked back at Maggie and Jamie and Maggie could tell by the look in my eyes that I needed her to wait just long enough for me to make sure that it was who I thought it was before she could bring him out. She nodded at me and I then turned towards the door and continued my way out of the bunker.
I opened the door and climbed out of it before shutting the door behind me and I went and covered it up. I then walked out of the room slowly as the pain all over my body was starting to come back. Thank God for pain meds. They at least helped me sleep last night.
I soon came out into the living room and there stood the agent that was under Gibbs. I knew that she could be someone that is to be trusted. If Gibbs brought her here, there was a good reason to.
I then said, "Hello, Agent David. I believe that we haven't been formally introduced yet. I'm Director Goodfreed. But everyone who is close to me calls me Missy."
"Nice to meet you, Director. I apologize that Agent Gibbs isn't here with me yet. There was....a situation at the gate," Agent David said.
"Please call me Missy. But what was going on at the gate?" I asked.
"Something about an instinct of his. He just was standing there for a minute. I guess that there was a look in his eye that told me to listen to him and what his orders were," Agent David said.
I nodded before I walk over to the bay windows that faced the backyard as I then crossed my arms the minute that I approached it.
"Director...I mean...Missy...what would make him do that on your property?" the agent asked.
"There is someone here that means to cause us harm. That is why Gibbs's instinct is kicking in right now," I replied quietly.
"What do you wish for us to do?" Connor asks.
