"A friend is someone who gives you total freedom to be yourself."

Missy's Viewpoint:
I knew that when Gibbs and FP into the house, I knew that there was going to be questions that were going to be asked of me. I hide too many dark secrets to cover the tracks that I made in order to protect those that I love. I guess that you can call it my way of healing, but it was just the way that I could protect myself.
I saw Gibbs and I knew that look on his face all too well. He was wondering what the hell was actually going on. I knew that I wasn't quite emotionally ready to tell him, but I knew that it was time for him to know regardless. He had to know what he was walking into. He deserved that at the least.
I sighed before looking at Agent David and my brother before looking at Gibbs. He saw the look in my eyes.
He then said, "Both of you check the property line and make sure that there would no loopholes for Lodge to get in. I need to speak to Missy alone."
They nodded, but not before my brother want to protest in order to protect me. Agent David knew how to get him to move out of the house and I am glad that she was able to get control of him, because I knew damn well that I wouldn't be able to do the same thing for me.
They were soon gone and Gibbs made sure to lock the front door behind them before facing me.
He then asked, "What is actually going on?"
"I have a feeling that you got some information from my brother that surprised you. What was it?" I replied.
"He said that he was the one who helped Lodge twist Fitz's arm in order to tell you to drop the investigation. When I questioned him in terms of how he got that information, he said that he got a text from someone you know who held a lot of power. I want to know if you know who that is," Gibbs said.
I nodded before turning away from him. I looked out onto my property and saw my brother and the agent walking the grounds. My arms went back to being crossed and I could feel Gibbs walking across the house to stand next to me. He was quiet in doing so.
He then broke the silence after a few minutes of silence.
"Who is it, Missy?" He asked.
"It is someone that I know. I know him very well. But....it's also someone that has been a part of my life for all of my life, ever since birth," I said, tears were now starting to well up in my eyes.
"Is there something that you need to tell me?" Gibbs said.
I nodded before sighing shakily. I was scared of the fact that I was going to be looked at differently. But I knew that Gibbs was going to love me regardless of what I would tell him.
I then said, "My past...it's a little different than what I told you. I am going to tell you right now, this is something that we are going to have to sit down for."
"Why?" He asks.
"Because it's a damn long story and I don't know if I am going to have the time to be able to tell you my entire story before Lodge finds us," I said as I glanced over at him.
Gibbs nodded before he began to walk over to my couch and sat down. I followed him to the couch and sat across from him.
"Growing up, I had no idea about FP. I was raised with a different sibling of ours. Our parents were split up at birth, and my mother took FP and I was raised with my other sibling. Our father was young as well as my mother at the time that we were born. I don't have a ton of information on my father, but when I met my mother once after my sibling and I turned eighteen, it was hard to get enough out of her due to the circumstances that we found her in. Having the family that she did growing up, I respect the fact that she felt it best to not raise us. I don't have a lot of memories of my childhood growing up that were positive. My first memory was getting taken by the man who I thought was my father. Little did I know the truth that would come out when I was able to get away from him," I explained.
