"When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us."

Alexander Grahm Bell

Gibbs's Viewpoint:

The minute that I got the phone call from Missy was both a relief and a curse. I knew that everyone wanted to know where she was. But I also knew that she was hiding from everyone for a reason. She had to have a reason. She usually doesn't do things like this unless there was a reason.

"Missy," I said quietly and began to walk away from everyone that was gathered in the waiting room, "Where are you?"

"I'm safe, Gibbs. I promise," She replies.

"What the hell happened last night?" I asked.

"Fitz met with me in my hospital room. Told me to call off the investigation. I have no idea why he would want that, but I'm sure that he had a damn good reason," Missy replied.

"So is that why you jumped out the damn window?" I asked, as I then found a room where I could go in and lock the door.

"Part of the reason. How many people are there looking for me?" Missy asked.

"More than I am willing to count right now. But that is besides the point. Have you heard from Fitz though?" I asked.

"No, but I was planning on getting ahold of him later today to try to figure out why I was called off with the investigation," Missy said.

"Fine, fine. But I want to know where you are at, because you shouldn't be alone, especially since they turned the maniac loose," I said.

"I'll be fine. Maggie is here and Conner is on his way with Jamie," Missy said.

"They aren't trained on how to deal with a situation like this, Missy. Now until that little bastard is captured again, you can't be alone. Is that understood?" I asked.

"Fine, Gibbs. I'll tell you where I am, but swear to me that you won't tell anyone else, please, I can't face Aaron right now. Not when I am still trying to heal," Missy begged.

"Missy, I understand and I know that, but are you willing to at least let me bring one person," I asked.

"And who is it exactly?" She questioned.

"A member of Mossad. I trust her with my life and I know that she won't say a single word to anyone, not even to the FBI. She knows not to share information unless told to do so," I replied.

"And you trust her?" Missy asked.

"Yes," I said as I reflected on the night that I met Ziva in my basement.

"Then bring her. But no one else. Is that understood?" Missy said.

"Loud and cleared," I replied.

Missy then gave me the address and she made sure that I wrote it down on a piece of paper before she hung up the phone on me. I then put my phone away and left the room that I was in, looking side to side to make sure that no one was looking for me. I then turned down to the hallway that I originally came from and walked until I met the rest of my team. I soon saw Ziva standing off to the side where as the rest of the team were doing God knows what, but they were at least not paying any type of attention to me.

I then stood next to Ziva and whispered near her ear, "We need to go."

She looked at me with a questioning look, and I knew what she was thinking.

"We're doing this alone. They will stay here with Vance. Someone needs to protect him. I'll go first but make sure to follow in a few minutes. I'll be in the parking lot. Make sure no one follows you," I said quietly.
