A long stretch of silence passed through the room after Hinata made her demands clear.

"Very well," Akise was the first to speak. "I'll give you my diary. However...." Akise pulled a coin out from his pocket.

"You'll have to win this bet," he continued. The albino male then flipped the coin in the air before catching it in a flash. "Left or right? I have my diary. And you have [Name]-chan's. For this game, we'll wager over diaries, based on which hand is holding the coin."

"I don't need to waste time with your silly games," Hinata smirked as she pulled out both her and your diary. "I'll just use my Breeder's Diary to end this now."

"You seriously think it will be that easy?" Akise chuckled humorlessly. "You do realize I'm a diary holder, too?"

"Hinata..." you heard Mao whisper beside your ear to Hinata. "With Amano-chan's diary, we can't lose."

"Fine, I'll play your game!" Hinata agreed.

With one quick fluid motion, Akise tossed the coin over to Hinata. "Let's do a little warm-up. Would you flip the coin?"

Leaning over a little, you read your diary entries before you eye's traveled over to Yuno.  Her intense pink eye's were pinned on Mao but quickly soften once she noticed your gaze.

Winking your right eye at her, you hoped she caught on to your hint.

'Common, Yuno! She's gonna have the coin in her right hand !'

Yuno must have caught onto your hint as she made her very over to Akise and muttered something in his ear.

"Okay, guess which hand it's in," Hinata spoke confidently as she put both of her clenched hands forward.

You held your breath as another long stretch of silence passed.

"The answer is your left hand," Akise once again broke the silence.

You panicked for a moment thinking that your hint must not have gone over to Yuno correctly. Fortunately, though, it turned out Akise was right as Hinata opened the palm to her left hand to reveal the coin in it.

"Enough playing around, let's do this for real this time," Akise spoke up before Hinata tossed the coin over to him.

"Okay. Which hand is it in?"

Hinata's chocolate eyed gaze fell once again to your diary entry's.

"Right hand!" She called over to him. Only for him to reveal it was in his left hand. Poor bastard.

"I won!" Akise cheered. "Now, hand over [Name]-chan's diary!"

"I won't!" Hinata argued. "I'll give you Amano- first...we can continue on with your little game!" You were then released from Mao's grip and pushed toward's Akise.

"Now, let's move on to the next round." Akise called over. "If I win, this will be the final round. Should that happen-" Akise was suddenly cut off as Yuno pushed him to the ground, pinning him under her leg as she put a box-cutter to his throat.

"I forgot to ask you something quite important," Yuno's voice came out dangerously low. "Which number are you?"

"Th-This isn't the time for that, Yuno!" You yelled at her.

"[Namie], at this rate, we're going to lose." Yuno grabbed the diary out of Akise's hand. "His diary has no actual diary entries."

"What did you say?" You gasped out as you leaned over Yuno to see, she was in fact, correct.

"You're no diary user."

Deranged chuckles then seeped out from between Akise's pale lip's before he breathlessly spoke.

"Sorry! Sorry! But everyone was so convinced that I had a diary, I decided to play along, for the fun of it."

"B-But you won twice," you pointed out.

"That was sheer luck. Even a human with super powers is still only human. When Hinata ceased to trust in her knowledge of the future, she'd lost."

"You risked [Namie's] life just for fun...." Yuno held her weapon up. "Die!" In a blink of an eye, Akise had reversed the role's and Yuno found herself beneath him.

"Well, then..." he patted himself down as he got off her. "Let's continue the game. Hinata wants to kill me because I know her father's secret. So I'll risk my life to reclaim [Name]-chan's diary. Now, let's resume."

"Akise-kun, a normal human can't defeat someone who knows the future..." you tried to argue.

"I shall be the one to decide whether I am win."

'That's crazy...he can't beat my Indiscriminate Diary. And the same trick won't work twice..'

"Okay," Hinata cut the brief silence. "I'll play your game once more. But this is the last time. If you win, I'll return Amano's diary. But lose, and I'll feed all of you to my dog's!"

"Wait!! Hinata!" You stopped her.

"What is it?" She responded dryly.

"Promise me something....if we win, you'll come back with us."

A blush arose on Hinata's cheek's before she nodded her head toward's you, "fine. I'll let Amano leave alive."

"That's a mistake!" Mao argued jealously. "If you let any of them leave, we won't be able to secure your secret!"

"None of this was ever going to work. You should leave, Mao. When I asked for your advice, I never meant to drag you into this-" Hinata sentence was cut off as Mao pulled her into a hug. And in the moment, you realized why Mao stuck around Hinata, why she was so defensive towards you and always seemed to intertwine in your conversation's with Hinata.

Mao was in love with Hinata.

You, however, weren't given too much to dwell on this matter as Yuno approached you and covered your ear's and eye's.

Confused, you stood there and allowed her to cut off two of you sense's.
