That morning, she looks like a zombie.
She couldn't sleep after that nightmare she had. It haunts her deeply that even remembering those things she wanted to cry. What had really happened that tragic day?
She looks so pale when Kim entered her room.
"Yaya, what happened are you sick?"
"No Kimmy, I just couldn't sleep last night so I become a walking dead."
How about you rest first then will just visit a spot later the afternoon, once you are well rested.
She nodded her head on the agreement since she knew she couldn't even make ten steps because of how sleepy she is.
Later in the afternoon, they visited a shop.
Kim explained that it is an antique shop, it has the same quality of post service but it's not.
She didn't tell me other details aside from that, then she suddenly excuses herself telling me that she would rather walk around than looking at the letter mails. I, on the other hand, was really interested in the said letter mails so I decided to just stay inside.
I asked the receptionist who is already a granny.
She told me the things that I should know.
A postal service in which you can send a letter for yourself or to anyone, but you can read it after five years. It was 10 years before you could read the letter, but due to suggestions from their customers, they lessen the years to half so that those who wrote the letters can read it still or the receivers of the said letter.
She told me to check if I have my name on the mailboxes found attached on the wall, with corresponding names. All I need to do is look around and if I found my name, I must present an ID and they will check if it is time to read my letter mails already.
Even though I know my name is not labeled on the mailboxes, but I still tried to look for it. And to my horror and surprised when I spotted under the S-surname section, my name placed.
I feel happy and at the same time terrified, but excitement deems all those emotions.
I returned to the receptionist and present my passport since I always have it in my bag. She looked so shocked when I showed her my ID.
She was busy looking the records on the manuals when I heard her say "Very well Ms. Urassaya I think it's time to read your letters. You wrote the letter last May 2013 and now it's August 2019 it has been waiting for you more than a year already." After saying those the granny, walked past me then started going to the locker mailbox section. I waited for a few minutes until she returned, with the envelopes at her hand.
She asked me to sign a paper stating that I claimed my mail on the said date and with my signature; what ID is used to claim the item.
After finishing the signing up of the paper, I decided to read them at the coffee shop beside the letter mail shop, sitting there makes you feel like living on the previous century, it is designed on a vintage way.
As I made myself sit comfortably, I started sorting the letters, there are three in total written all on the same day 26th of May, five years ago.
After reading the letter it's as if her soul left her body, she can't believe what jest she is currently right now.
She could never believe what she read. And the painting no wonder in her heart the man is very familiar.
She cost the devastation of the said man, she didn't care if there are customers inside the café, she cried her heart out.
