Lili Pov
I jumped into Truck 81, as we got a call. Sitting next to Otis, I got myself ready for anything that could be at the scene.
Darden.... Guys, how do I look?
Casey.... As usual—like the class clown.
As Casey said that, I laughed as I shook my head at Darden. He was definitely the jokester at 51, but that's what made him—him.
Casey.... Yo Severide, how soon can you take Darden off my hands? He asked, Kelly on the intercom.
Kelly.... Andy makes Squad the day after I'm no longer in charge.
Everyone was laughing in Truck 81, after what Kelly's response was to Casey. I took my hair and tied it up in a ponytail, struggling to hold my mask and do my hair Otis took my mask from my hands as I finished with my hair.
Lili.... Thank you, Otis. I smiled as him, as he pushed me slightly.
Once we arrived at the scene, I put on my helmet and jumped out of the car with Darden following behind me. Immediately I looked at the sight in front of me, as I saw the fire. Darden slapped his hand on my shoulder as he looked down at me.
Darden.... Come on Lil, we've got this.
Lili.... We've got this. I replied as we fist pumped each other.
Woman.... My brother lives up there, he hasn't come down.
Casey.... That window there? He asked pointing to the window, as she nodded her head. Think there's a guy in the addict.
Kelly.... He can be on the stairs, in the hallway, anywhere. We'll go in from the back and work our way up.
Casey.... Lili, you go with Severide, see if you can find him.
Lili.... You've got it. I said, as I followed behind Kelly.
Kelly.... Case of beer, we'll get to him first.
Shaking my head, I followed Kelly to the back of the house to see if we could find him anywhere.
Lili.... Where do you want me Kelly?
Kelly.... I want you with me.
Lili.... You've got is Lieutenant. I said, saluting him making him laugh.
"Time Skip"
Kelly.... Let's go. Guys look over there. Casey, there is no vent.
Just then, the door slammed shut, as I reacted to the noise, I turned to the door then back to Kelly. Standing next to Kelly, we both saw that the vent was sucking in the smoke.
Kelly.... GET DOWN! Kelly yelled, as he pulled me down covering me from the fire.
