'Larkin, ex fiancé of the famous movie producer, William Cavalier, spotted leaving Nathan Stone's house this morning'
I reread the headline over and over again. But no matter how many times I read it over, it doesn't change.
"Dean it wasn't what it looks like. I went out clubbing with Margot and she went off with some guy. So Nathan let me stay in his guest room for the night" I lie almost immediately.
"And why didn't he just bring you here?" he asks skeptically.
"I was a bit too drunk to come here. I didn't wanna risk waking Rose up" I lie again. It scares me how easily the lies roll off my tongue.
After a few more questions Dean walks off satisfied with my responses, but Vivian on the other hand stays behind giving me a 'tell me the real truth' look.
"It was only a one night stand" I confess after I make sure Dean can't hear.
"Mhm" she hums eyeing me up and down. "Sure looks like it."
I gasp dramatically pretending to be offended, even though I slightly am but she doesn't have to know that.
"One night stands are dangerous" Vivian says with her arms crossed over her chest like a teacher who just found a student being a trouble maker.
"What are you talking about?"
"Would you like your very own Rose?"
I'm surprised by her straightforwardness but I make sure not to show it. "Ha ha ha. Very funny Vivi, now is there any left over breakfast?" I ask as I walk towards the kitchen.

Ever since I was photographed leaving Nathan's house William has been texting me and calling me nonstop. He keeps begging me to give him another chance but I just ignore him. I'm trying my best to move on but waking up to at least five messages from him everyday for a month makes it difficult, which is why I blocked him.
It's been a little over a month and to say the least, a lot has changed. I don't want to overwhelm you with the many many differences but-
Rose has actually started to somewhat crawl! I'm excited yet scared of the mess she'll be making and the trouble she'll be stirring up once she can actually get around on her own. Well moving on.
Nathan has a girlfriend now. Vivian was actually the one who told me because she's been into the gossip blogs lately. Her name is Samantha and she seems to be nice. I mean I don't know what to say, she's literally a model so I'm not too surprised on that part.
I've been to work a few times but everything is still a bit awkward. I was pretty upset when I found out Elizabeth was out the few times I went. People there still act like they're walking on eggshells when around me and honestly I'm sick and tired of it. I just wish people would believe me when I say I've moved on from everything and I'm fine just the way I am.
Okay honestly speaking, when I found out Nathan had a girlfriend I did feel a bit sad and maybe...jealous? But I was in no position to feel that way, so I pushed myself to be okay with it because I didn't want to be known as the crazy jealous ex. Although him and I haven't talked since then, Nathan and I did agree to be just friends and that's what I was going to be.

I look at myself in the mirror this morning like I have every other morning for the past month or so.
"You're okay" I repeat over and over again. I take a deep breath and exhale. "You're fine."
"Lark! Breakfast is ready!!!" Vivian yells from the kitchen.
