Pianos and Preparations

Rakal and Fink were playing the piano together while Venomous prepared their dinner for the night. He still hasn't told them about the dinner party tomorrow night, but he's not going to worry about that now.

Fink's piano playing has certainly improved since Rakal came into the picture. He honestly didn't know she could play too. He even sees Fink practicing without being asked.

"Hey, I've been working on something and I want you to hear it. Tell me what you think." Fink said as she slipped out a music sheet. Rakal stops playing and scoots over to let Fink take the stage. Venomous peaked out when he heard the playing stop.

Fink starts a rather jazzy song that was both playful and mischievous. Rakal and Venomous look at Fink in amazement until she was done. They both clapped and cheered for her, making her laugh.

"Did ya like it that much?" She asked the two and Rakal gave her a big hug. "It was so good!" She parts to look at her. "How did you get so good?" She asked. "It's like ya said, if I practice, I can do this kinda stuff too." Fink smiled with a bit of a blush and gave Rakal a hug this time.

"I love you, Rakal, and I wanna make you proud of me." Fink snuggled a bit. Rakal was pretty shocked, but gave her a hug back and rubbed her head. "I love you too, Fink, and I'm already proud of you." She smiled warmly.

Venomous couldn't believe it, Fink found someone she could call family other than him. His eyes start to twinkle at the beautiful scene before him. The oven beeps that the food is done and he went to go set up the table.

When he's ready to call them to dinner, he hears the piano had started up again, now with a more sad tune. He peaks out to see Rakal playing this time. Her fingers glide across the keys, turning into a song of sadness into a song of hope and joy.

"Woah, when did you learn how to do that?" Fink asked, just as Rakal finished up. "The first part was something I learned as a kid. My parents really loved melancholly music, but then I changed it a bit so my younger siblings could listen too." She explained and noticed Venomous. "Food's ready." He announced and Fink jumps up. "Finally! I'm starved!" She ran to the dining table.

Rakal stopped Venomous from going to give him a big kiss. "Thanks for everything." She smiled and started to head to the dining room, but Venomous stopped her to give her a more passionate kiss. "I need to talk to you after Fink goes to bed." He whispered to her, grabbed her hand, and walked together to meet Fink for dinner.

"Love you..." Fink whispered as Rakal tucks her into bed. "Love you too." Rakal smiled and gave her a little kiss on the forehead. "Sweet dreams." She whispered as Fink starts to fall asleep. She quietly walks out and is met with Venomous.

She's been waiting for this all night and could admit that she was a bit scared of what he needs to talk about, but after that kiss. It couldn't be the worse. She followed him to his lab and he pressed a button on the wall, making a few couches pop from the floor.

"Have a seat." He gestured. Rakal sits down and Venomous sits right next to her. He held her hand and gave it a little squeeze. "How do I say this without worrying you?" He asked, looking down. "Rakal," He sighs and looks into her eyes, "the board of villains are coming over tomorrow night for dinner.

They heard that I've hired you and wanted to see what you're like." "Well, that doesn't sound so bad." Rakal said nervously. "They know who you are too." Venomous stated. "Oh..." she went silent, but felt him squeeze her hand again.

"I know this is going to sound harsh, but I REALLY don't want them to find out about us. Not yet, at least." He said, almost begging. She was a bit hurt but understood. "If they know who I am, then it's probably for the best." She agreed. "All professional tomorrow... sir." She smiled a little and squeeze his hand.

Venomous sighs in relief and, after a moment of silence, he looks over at Rakal with a smirk. "But for now, it's all about us, Ms. Rolland." He pulled her on his lap and started to gently kiss her neck. Rakal stifled a moan and held onto him. He reaches over for a remote and dimmed the lights as they start their fun night together.

Rakal woke up and looks to see she's laying on her boss. She blushed and smiled as she cuddles up to him. She feels his arms wrap around her and feel a little kiss on the forehead. "Good morning." Venomous whispered. "Good morning." She sighed and gave him a kiss.

"So much for being professional all day." He chuckled and lifted himself up a bit. "Yeah..." Rakal sighs and gets up. "Well, we can start after breakfast." She smiled and saw he had gotten up to hug her from behind. "Sounds like a deal." He sighed and kissed her neck.

"I'm so glad I have you." He whispered in her ear. She felt like she could melt in his arms right then and there. He gave her a kiss on the cheek before letting go. "Come on, let's get ready and go get some breakfast. I feel like eating out this morning." He gave her a kiss.

After breakfast, Rakal and Venomous go full cleaning mode while they have Fink play video games to keep her distracted. They were done by lunch and discussed on what they could serve for dinner. "Would a roast do or maybe steak?" Rakal asked as they spitball ideas.

"No, that's been done before. How about a big salmon?" Venomous suggests. Fink decides to join in on the conversation. "We can hire caterers! They can cook whatever they want off the menu and it'll be quick too." She smiled.

They both stare at Fink and jump at her. "That's such a good idea." The two laughed while hugging her. "That gives us more time to get everything ready." Rakal smiled. "I'll go ahead and call one up." Venomous gets his phone out to call, leaving the room.

"You're a life saver, Fink." Rakal smiled and Fink laughed. "Let's go ahead and get you ready." Rakal said as she picks her up. "Alright, but nothing cute!" Fink demands. "I'll try my best." Rakal grinned.
