Rye's POV
(I know surprising right. Lol)
Beep beep beep beep.
I hear my alarm going off. I groan and roll over and turn it off. But instead of getting up I just keep laying on my bed. Thinking. I think about how today is going to be just like every other day. I wake up, eat breakfast, walk around, train, go for a run, then go eat dinner with the family, then go back to sleep. It's like that every day. Nothing ever changes. I wish things would change.
Knock knock knock.
I hear from my bedroom door. I groan again because I was in deep thought and did not want to be bothered. So I got up and put some joggers on because I don't really want anyone to see me in my boxers. I walk to the door with an annoyed look on my face and opened the door with closed eyes.
"What! What is more important than me in my thoughts!?" I say annoyed and then I open my eyes with my mother of all people standing at my door with crossed arms and an expression of you think your funny don't you plastered onto her face. And I just scrunch up my face and say
"Sorry mom I didn't know it was you" I say with a smile.
"Uhm ok. So anyways since you thinking is more important I guess you don't want to eat so..."
"No mom I want to eat and me thinking is not that important anyways" I say scratching the back of my neck.
"Ha ha ha" I hear two kids laughing beside my door.
"Sammie and Shaun" I say and I hear "sh's" and tiny foot steps running away.
I just roll my eyes and by that time mom has already walked away probably headed towards the dining room. So I go back in my room and put a shirt on and head down stairs.
When I get to the dining room I see I already have a plate at my seat so I sit down and start eating.
"So son I hear that you gave your mom some attitude" my dad says with everyone looking at me trying to hold on their laughter.
"Ok first of all I didn't know it was her and second. Well there is not second" I say and my dad looks at me with a very disappointing look because I just back talked him in front of every one.
"Oh sorry dad" I say and finish eating.
