Later that day we were in dinning room eating our lunch when the doors slammed open. Everyone at the table jumped and looked over to see who it was. And of course if just had to be my two youngest brothers Samie and Shaun.
"Sorry we're late" they said at the exact same time.
"I couldn't find my right shoe" said samie.
"And I couldn't find my left shoe. So we just grabbed our socks that look like shoes" they both laughed until they heard the throat cleaning sound from their dad.
"That's enough children. Take your seats and eat" they both nodded and sat down infront of me and Andy.
"Hey I'm Shaun and this is Sammie. What's your name" Shaun says towards Andy while shoving a fork full of food into his mouth.
"Uhm m-y my name is Andy" andy says looking at Sammie and Shaun smiling.
" rye. They look exactly like you" Andy said to me. I just laughed bc I knew that when people say that they get a little mad bc they hear it all the time. When they heard Andy say that they growled in anger. This scared Andy and he immediately starting apologizing to them and denying that they look like me. I was crying because I was laughing so hard at this point. That's when father cleared his throat making everyone look up. He was looking straight at me with a stern look which made me stop laughing and look down into my lap.
"Now all of you stop this nonsense right now" father said angrily.
"Yes father"
"Yes sir"
"Yes sir"
"I'm so sorry sir. I didn't know.." Andy was trying to apologize but father cut him off.
"Theres no need to apologize. You are new here and didn't know that would upset the young children" father said looking at Andy.
"Yes sir. I'm sor.."
"Andrew. I said do not apologize"
"Yes sir" Andy said looking down in embarrassment. You could clearly see his cheeks turn into a crimson red color. And I felt so bad for him. I just want to protect him and keep him away from my father. Bc I do not want him thinking down on himself bc my father can be such a pain.
