Monica's POV

"Alexander Lance. What a pleasant surprise? Do you feel at ease now that I brought some company?" I heard a man's voice approaching and laughter echoing in the room.
I saw Xander tied in the same manner as me. I could see the pain in his eyes as the voice got closer to me.
It's bone-chilling in this haunting room. And being chained into a chair doesn't alleviate the dread within me. I am frightened and in deep water. It's him! Johannes.
I took a deep breath as I felt a hand grasping my hair and fingers scrubbing my head. He went on with tousling my hair. I dodged forward and tried to break free of his hands. My body trembled and shook. How dare he try touching me.
" She's beautiful, isn't she? Doesn't that sweet scent of hers drive you crazy? Of course! You didn't even get the chance to know her while you were chasing revenge. Isn't that right?"
He slid his hands against my neck. I feel infuriated and sickened to have his dirty hands lurking upon my skin.
I see Xander whimper against his chair as Johannes gets his head closer to my neck. I turned my face to the other side as droplets of tear streamed down my cheeks.
"What's that?" He turns his ears sideways. "Have you got something to say, Alexander?" He grins sweepingly and starts walking to the midst of the room, stuffing his hands into his pockets.
"I never thought I would see you again, especially in an echelon like this. You, your wife, and your little girlfriend here– is it Monica dear?– can't keep your hands to your selves. Always sticking your noses into other people's affairs." He laughs and takes a brisk peek at me.

" The moment I walked out on you and your wife laying on that marble floor, I had forgotten all about you. But I see I've been messing with your head. And I like that! I like the fact that somebody thinks about me day and night. How adorable." He said, clapping his hands together looking at Xander. His evil laughter fills the room, and so does the grinning of the two other men behind me.
I regret following Xander back here– I should have brought some backup at least! What the hell was I thinking? This man will kill us sooner or later. He has done it before, and he wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

"Have I told you that your wife begged me to spare her life?" He crept back to me. I muffled a scream as he revealed his blade and got closer to my cheeks. Tears poured down my eyes.
My hands were firmly bound to this chair, and the more I struggled to free myself, the more the string of the rope grazed my hands.
Xander kept on tossing against his chair. I can't imagine how hard it must be to go through the same situation twice.

"She was screaming as I ran this blade on her cheeks, and she couldn't stop crying. I wanted to let her live for a moment right then, but I lost something that night. I get pretty sensitive when things don't go the way I want them to."
He threw the blades across the room. I let a breath out for a moment. At least he wasn't going to kill me with it. Sigh*
"Alexander, have you ever heard of the saying ' History repeats itself ' ?" He pulled out a gun and pointed it at my head. Oh God, I preferred the blade.
That's the moment I clutched my eyes together and squirmed for my life. I asked myself how I got into this mess.
Xander tried to make a noise. "You got something to say? Huh?" Johannes asked Xander.
One of the guys went to Xander and pulled the tape from his mouth
"Don't you dare touch her!" Xander shouted but came out more like a cry.
"Or what? Are you threatening me? Haven't you realized that you're in no position to do so?" Johannes spoke in anger.
" I swear you're gonna regret the day you were born as soon as I am off this chair." Xander clenches his teeth together.
"Oh yeah? How about now?" Johannes pulls the slide of the gun backward.
" Ok, please! Please! She's all I have left. It's me that you want. It's me who you should kill." Xander didn't even finish before...
Gunshot*
