Chapter 28: First Day At Work

Destiny drives her car to the hospital.

Destiny gets to the hospital and parks her car. She looks at Wanda and says "You okay?"

Wanda says "Yeah."

Destiny says "Okay. Well... Let's go inside, shall we?"

Wanda says "We?"

Destiny says "Yeah. I'm going in with you and find Strange."

Wanda says "Oh... Okay."

Destiny rolls her eyes and says "Get out." And they both laugh.

They both enter and look for Strange. After a few minutes, Strange comes up to them and says "Morning ladies."

Wanda says "Good morning."

Destiny says, with a loving smile "Morning Strange."

Strange says "Well Wanda... Shall we start?"

She nods her head "yes."

Destiny says "Well... I better get going. I will pick you up Wanda. Bye guys."

Wanda says "Bye."

Strange says "Good-bye." And watches Destiny walk off.

Wanda says "Should we go?"

Strange snaps out of it and says "Yes."

An Hour Later

Strange says "So, you will be with a lot of kids. Is that okay?"

Wanda says "That's fine."

Strange leads Wanda to one of the rooms and Strange opens the door.

Strange says "Hey Abby (The picture on top of the title is the girl.) How are you today?"

Abby says, with a sad face "I'm fine."

Strange says" Okay. Abby, this is Ms. Wanda. You will see her a lot."

Abby looks at Wanda and back to her doll.

Strange grabs Wanda's arm and brings her out of the room.

Strange says "Abby was recently out of a child abuse situation. Her Aunt came here with her and she was in very bad shape, but she is better."

Wanda says "Oh my god."

A nurse comes running to Strange and says "Strange we nee you right now. It's very important."

Strange says "Okay. Uh... Wanda stay with Abby. I will be back."

Wanda nods her head and Strange runs, leaving Wanda with Abby. Wanda opens the door and goes over to Abby.

Wanda kneels down with her arms on the bed and says "What's your doll's name?"

Abby says "Penny."

Wanda says "Ah... She's very pretty."

Abby says "Thank you." And She gives Wanda a little smile.

A Few Hours Later

Strange comes in the room and sees that Abby is laughing.

Strange says "Hey girls."

They both say "Hey."

Strange says "Alright Abby. It's time for bed."

Abby says "Okay."

Abby lays back and closes her eyes while Strange and Wanda go out the room and turns off the lights.

Wanda says "Is time to go home already?'

Strange says "Yep."

Wanda grabs her things and goes out the building and sees Destiny with a huge smile.

Wanda asks "Why are you smiling so big?"

Destiny says "You will find out soon."

They get in Destiny's car and Destiny drives off to drop off Wanda at her house.
