Chapter 100: Telling The Wife

Vision comes home and opens the front door and walks in the house and closes the door.

Vision says "Wanda, I'm home."

Wanda walks out of the kitchen and says "Hi Vision."

Wanda hugs Vision and Vision hugs back. They both pull apart and Wanda looks at Vision and can tell that something was wrong.

Wanda puts her hands on Vision's cheeks and says "What's wrong?"

Vision puts his hands on Wanda's hands and grabs them and rubs Wanda's hands.

Vision says "We have to talk."

Wanda says "Okay."

Wanda drops her hands while one of Vision's hands is holding on one of Wanda's hands. Vision leads Wanda to the living room and they both sit down on the center couch.

Wanda says "Vizh, what's going on?"

Vision says "Remember yesterday, I asked you to promise me to not worry about the meeting?"

Wanda says "Yes?"

Vision says "Well, where do I start?"

Wanda says "Start it at why you needed a meeting."

Vision says "Right, okay. It started the night I called Strange for the meeting. Before that, I was having this bad dream where there was nothing but darkness. Then, a voice started to talk and tell me things like I should be worried about you, they want to hurt me and not you at all, I took everything from them, I'm living their life, and they are partnered up with a girl, which you know."

Wanda was shocked at what Vision just said.

Vision says "Wanda darling. Are you okay?"

Wanda says "That's a lot of information."

Vision says "Sorry. Do you want me to continue?"

Wanda says "Yeah."

Vision says "So anyway, I woke up, called Strange, tell him that I needed a meeting with certain people, and wait for the day of the meeting. Today, I told everybody about the dream."

Wanda says "What did they say?"

Vision told Wanda everything that was at the meeting. Wanda was still in shocked.

Wanda says "Okay. I understand everything, except..."

Vision says "Except what?"

Wanda says "The girl. The only girls I know are the ones in our team and that is it."

Vision says "Are you sure?"

Wanda says "Yes, I am positive."

Vision says "Then why did the voice tell me that the girl knows you?"

Wanda says "I don't know. Maybe to scare me."

Vision says "Maybe. In your nightmare, did the voice sound like a boy or a girl?"

Wanda says "A girl."

Vision nods his head.

Wanda says "Do you think the voices in our dreams are working together?"

Vision says "Could be."

Wanda says "So, the only way to find out who these two are is wait for the time to be right for them?"

Vision says "Yep."

Wanda says "And we only can watch backs and be careful?"

Vision  says "Correct."

Wanda says "What do you think we should do?"

Vision says "I agree that we should watch out backs and be careful until we know those two are. Do you agree?"

Wanda says "Yes."

Vision says What else should we do?"

Wanda says "I think until we know who those two are, we can focus on the baby needs."

Vision says "Like what?"

Wanda says "Like discussing what color the baby's bedroom is going to be, baby's furniture, other stuff the baby needs, where everything is going to be in the baby's bedroom, and most importantly picking the baby's name."

Vision says "Yeah, let's do that this weekend."

Wanda says "I couldn't agree with you more."

They both laugh and settle down for a bit.

Vision says "I'm sorry that I kept this from you."

Wanda says "It's okay. I understand why."

Vision says "To keep the baby safe."

Wanda says "Yeah."

Vision kneels down and puts both hands on Wanda's waist and says, to the baby "Hey little one, it's daddy. Your mommy and I are excited to meet you and we can't wait. I can already tell that you are going to be fantastic. And don't worry about those bad guys that your mommy and I were talking about because I promise that I will be there to protect you no matter what. Your mommy and I love you very much." And kisses Wanda's stomach.

Vision stands up and holds out one of his hands for Wanda to take and Wanda takes Vision's hand and stands up.

Vision puts his hands on Wanda's cheeks and says "And I promise that I will protect you too no matter what."

Wanda starts to cry and kisses Vision's lips on hers and Vision kisses Wanda back.

Wanda says "I love you so much."

Vision says "I love you very much too."

They kiss again for a while.

Wanda says "Vision."

Vision says "Yes."

Wanda says "Can you promise me some else?"

Vision says "Of course. What is it?"

Wanda says "Promise me that you will protect the baby more than me."

Vision says "What? Why?"

Wanda says "Because if something happens to the baby when he or she is born, I will never forgive myself. Just... promise me that you will do that, please."

Vision says "Yes."

Wanda hugs Vision and Vision hugs Wanda back.
