Chapter 25 · Mismatch Family

Akilles's pov

I growl lowly as me and the warriors surrounded the entrance to the underground bunker that Natasha and Regina held my mate in.

These past two weeks have been a aboslute terrow. I woke up to my mate gone and myself having been drugged. It had taken us a week to find out who had infiltrated my territory as well as my room.

But once we found out who it was, I lost control. I destroyed my office, in anger.

Then it made it worse where I had small spasm where I was in so much pain and I knew they were hurting her. Stalking forward, warriors queitly open the bunker door, jumping inside, I stay low as I hear the fake explosion going off. Hearing the disappearing footsteps I go deeper into the bunker following the smell of honey and roses.

Finally getting to a door, I open it, seeing Willow chained to the ground with a little boy in her lap. Getting a growl in reponse, I walk to Willow in my wolf form, licking at the wounds they inflicted.

"Akilles'?" Willow asked nodding I yip nudging her. "Eli, it's alright now, we're okay. My mate is here." Willow said to the little boy as I break the chains holding her down. "Mama." He whimpered as I sniffed at him.

"Don't worry. He'll protect us." Willow reassured him. Laying down Willow and the boy get on as I stand up, getting a good hold, I run out of the room seeing some of the enemy on the ground. "Close your eyes." I mindlink Willow as we exit the bunker running back towards the camp.

Letting Willow and the pup down, I shift back putting on a pair of short I walk over to Willow and the pup. "Willow look at you. This is my fault." I whimper placing her in my lap.

"Hey, it not your fault. Don't blame yourself. Okay, Akilles' meet Eli." Willow said bringing the little boy to my attention.

He seemed to tremble in fear as I gazed at him. "You don't have to be afraid of me. I won't hurt you not ever." I hum giving him a small smile but he nodded clinging to Willow. Hearing approaching footsteps , I growl in the direction but see its only my warriors.

"Alpha the mission is completed Natasha and Regina are being dealt with as we speak." A warrior said. "Casualties?"

"None, only injuries but minor." He said. Nodding I dismiss him before grabbing a small bag handing Willow and Eli some food. "Here you two need to eat, once done Willow I want you to tell me what happened in that bunker." I say as I watch over them.

She nodded as they continued to eat, so night was falling upon us and Willow and Eli went in our tent. Shifting back to my wolf form, I stand gaurd in front of the tent not moving.

Hearing small whimpers coming from inside, I shift back to humanoid form seeing Eli squirming. Soothing Willow back to sleep, I pick Eli up rocking him side to side. Feeling wetness on my shoulder, I see Eli crying softly.

"Let it out pup. Your safe now. I won't let no one hurt you or Willow ever again. Promise that pup." I say as Eli whimpered grasping onto my neck. "Pinky promise?" Eli whispered. Smirking, I link my pinky with his. "Promise, now lets get to bed." I say putting him between Willow and I before trying to fight off sleep but succumbed to it.

Feeling weight laying on me, I wake up see Willow cuddle up to me on one side as Eli lay peacefully atop my chest. Smiling I rub Willow back softly kissing her head. "Good morning." Willow whispered. "Morning my queen. I've missed you so much." I confess.

"How long was I gone?" She asked softly as to not wake Eli.

"Two weeks. They didn't hurt you to bad, did they?" I asked. Shaking her head, Willow relaxed against me. "Akilles' I want to adopt Eli." she says seriously.

"Its being taken care of as we speak." I say as I had mindlinked my lawyer to start the adoption process though no piece of paper is telling me I won't care for this pup.

"Mama?" Eli whimpered. "Good morning." Willow said rubbing his back as he woke up.

"Family." Lazarus growled out.

"C'mon we need to get back to the pack house. The pack has missed you very much and they'll be happy to hear Eli is part of the pack now." I say as I sit up Eli still in my arms. Leaving the tent, we had a quick breakfast of small rabbits before cleaning up.

"Pack territory is just a 12 miles north of here." A warrior said as I nodded to him. "It be easier to run in wolf form. Willow you think your up for it." I ask. With a nodd she shifted shaking out his silver spotted fur. "You want to ride on mama or me?" I ask Eli softly. "Mama." He said amd I placed him on her back. "Hold tight." I said before I shifted.

Barking out, I run north Willow right beside me as Eli held strong his face stuffed in her fur. Leaping and ducking over logs and low hanging branches. Stopping as I smell some rogues near by, I step in front of Willow and Eli, growling in their direction.

Three emerged from the bushes, a larger maroon colored one followed by two gray furred wolves. They seemed to glance at is before huffing and going back the way they came. Straightening up, we continue running towards the pack house.

Arriving in the track field I slow to a walk, passing pack members that cheered in happiness as their luna was returned safely. Suddenly Micah was running out the pack house hugging Willow's wolf.

"Are you okay Willow? I missed you so much." Micah said as Willow yipped at him before continuing to walk in the house straight up to our room. Shifting back as I close the door, I see Willow walking in the bathroom with Eli. Sliding on some short, "Willow I'm going to go get some stuff okay." I say before leaving the room going down to Omar's room, I knock.

"Alpha, I'm kinda busy." Omar say as I hear small whimpers. "I need to borrow a little boy outfit." I order knowing what was going on in the room. Hearing some grumbling and shuffling, Omar finally produces a outfit. Thanking him, I go back to my room seeing Eli and Willow exiting the bathroom. Herself in nothing but a towel and Eli in the same.

"Eli, come here pup." I say as Willow sets him down. Slowly he walked over to me, "I brought a outfit for you to wear for now until we can go out and get you some clothes." I say as I get him dressed in a loose t shirt and sweatpants.

Handing him to Willow who was dressed practically the same, I go hop in the shower. Washing off dried blood and the grime of yesterday, I washed my hair before rinsing off. Drying off, I wrap the towel around my waist exiting the bathroom. Rubbing in my lotion, I slide on some briefs, before dressing the same as Willow.

"C'mon. Lets go see Martha get you guys checked out. Then afterwards, we can go shopping" I say as I open the door escorting them to the ward.

"Well luna is hurt to badly a few bruises only. The pup however is malnourished but with some food he'll be alright." Martha smiled lightly before leaving the room.

"I'm glad you too are okay." I smile as I hold Eli in my lap. Feeling a tub on my shirt, I look down at Eli.

"I'm tired." He says. "Go to sleep. We'll go shopping another day." I say as he cuddles into my chest.

Leaving the ward, Willow and I walk back to the pack house. "I love you." I said. "I love you too Akilles'." Willow said softly
